Simple and helpful

I have been using this for a few months now and it’s perfect. It keeps me accountable too. I have to look at my bank account everyday and I put in my items everyday. I see when it goes from green to red and it’s helped me see patterns that I didn’t know existed. Like I had no idea I was spending so much on groceries and what I though we needed to cut back on was not a big deal but what was a big deal I would have never seen! I’m now out of credit card debit because of this app alone.
My only wish is that I could share the same account on two phones so my husband could have access on his phone at the same time and be updated when I update too. Like a login feature.
But super in love. I needed something simple and it does just that.

Just Fix Recurring Payments (Unchecking Doesn’t Work)

Want to reiterate: it’s really great! Best finance app I’ve ever used; only gripe still is that if you set up a recurring payment, when you view all past payments, it’ll list the payments in the future already. Makes it a bit harder to go to the actual day to see how much has been spent just today, but other than that it’s good. The Monefy team actually responded saying that if you uncheck the box in settings for “Recurring Payments” it’ll go away, but it actually still doesn’t fix it and I still have to scroll quite a few weeks to examine the current day. I want to clarify that I’m not having issues with my balance being affected (unchecking the box only makes it so my balance isn’t affected by recurring payments)—I’m having issues with the recurring payment just showing up in future weeks that have not happened yet and that complicating my entire list of transactions by making me scroll however many weeks from the end of the year to the current week. I appreciate the team actually reading reviews, so big kudos to that, but still—please fix it!

Developer Response ,

Such an option does exist! You could go to Right menu - Settings and uncheck the "Future recurring records" checkbox. In that way the records will be added to the balance only after a due date. Regards,
Monefy team

Best simple money tracker

As someone who doesn’t have a fixed income I literally love this app for money tracking. It’s clean, simple, and having the different categories for different types of spending is an amazing feature! I can see just what I spent for the month which is something I struggled to visualize. I love that adding and subtracting money is really easy too! If you are a young person or teenager looking to keep track of your money I highly recommend!!
Things to improve: I really wish they had a way to easily track monthly subscriptions such as Netflix and factor it in automatically.
Also, I would love an option to take photos of receipts!!
