Description
Montana MyFWP is the official E-tagging app for the State of Montana. Easily access all your Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks hunting and fishing E-tags, licenses, and permits from your mobile device.
Features:
• You can now select E-tags over paper carcass tags
• Download and validate your E-tag in the app with just a few steps
• Present your validated E-tags, licenses and permits to FWP law enforcement in the field
• Access your Montana hunting and fishing licenses and permits in one convenient, paperless location on your mobile device
Important info:
• For licenses that require E-tags, remember that you must validate your E-tag before moving the carcass.
• Customers are required to show your validated E-tag to Officers when requested.
• By Montana law, no GPS location data will be shared with Fish, Wildlife & Parks.

We’ll see how it all works when the time comes..but looks very nice, easy to use, etc.
As some have already mentioned, downloadable regulations would be 👌🏼. I’d be surprised if that wasn’t added at some point.
Only other thing I can think of, and maybe I’m just missing it, is adding kids tags to this as well. Would be fantastic to just hold the whole families tags (until they’re 16-18) on one account, one device, etc.

Hi TaterToast! You actually can have your kids’ licenses, permits, and E-Tags in your app. For now, you need to log into MyFWP on our website, link your minor kids’ ALS accounts to your MyFWP account and you can view them in your mobile app! If you need help, please call us at 406-444-2950 and we will walk you through it.
This app is complete trash
Doesn’t work when you need it to. Always says your ALS is not active. Doesn’t communicate with the MyFWP on website. Haven’t been able to sign into MyFWP portal for years. (Keeps saying my password is incorrect even after changing it) I’ve been trying to use this app for a couple years now. Doesn’t pull info when you need it to even when you’re in great cell coverage. E-tag is a great concept as long as your app works. Also the app said it doesn’t track you but it does. Will be going to back to good old paper tags until they force you to use this god awful app. Do better FWP…
