Controller lets you use your iPad or iPhone to set up a new Mood Media ProFusion media player or to control the music on your player once it is configured. Play and pause your music, change the volume, and see tracks that have recently played, all from the convenience of your mobile device. Compatible Media Players: ProFusion iS with subscription to a Mood Media professional music service ProFusion iO (February 2016 or later) with subscription to Pandora for Business You will need your ProFusion remote control for a portion of the set-up process, and your ProFusion and mobile device must be on the same WiFi network.

This app is absolute garbage. Connecting to your device is a nightmare and often doesn’t work at all. If a song is playing and you want to skip or provide pandora feedback, better hope the app is still connected before the song ends, otherwise you’re out of luck. If the RIAA is wondering why so many businesses across America are playing pandora illegally on a private account maybe it’s because the legal commercial account alternative is unusable trash. Pandora, you have a great product for the private user, please fix the commercial end of it for those of us that want to abide by the law.

Don’t waste your time or money

After countless hours on the phone with tech support, neither my sound system tech not myself could get the app working. I wrote into customer service for help and they responded they have techs for $135 / hr. Since I already spent a total of ten hours on the phone you can imagine what that bill would be. How about you create a product that works? I have a business and we bought this, pandora for business, controller because we need the music working! I bought 3 of them to play different music in all 3 outlets. There are no other options to use Pandora legally.

Garbage App, Doesn’t Compare to Standard Pandora

This app never connects, has terrible navigation, doesn’t allow you to rate songs unless you were doing it at the moment the song plays, doesn’t allow you to add variety to stations and generally functions poorly if functioning at all. I wish we could just use the standard Pandora app with our commercial account. This thing is garbage.

The only way I could get this app to work with the Mood Media Player was to hardwire the player to my router. Even with the player less than 10 feet away from router it would take forever to connect, it would stop playing mid-song or not play at all when it was wireless. I do like the convenience of paying one fee to cover all music licenses though. Wish they updated the app more often. Seems dated.

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Simplified login and connection: - Controller will remember the last ProFusion that you connected to and take you there automatically, if the player is available. You can still easily switch players or set up a new one. - You can also use the new “Remember Me” option to save your password and avoid logging in. Additional updates to address crashes and connection issues.
