Move Compass is a self-assessment tool for professional migration pathways based on published official rules.
Choose two focus countries, complete a short profile and lifestyle preferences, and the app scans 18 countries on your device. You receive your two selected directions plus one unselected country to explore.
Key features:
- Official eligibility, official scores, route feasibility, lifestyle fit, readiness, and data confidence remain separate
- See passed, failed, and missing conditions
- Review rule versions, verification dates, and government or official-agency sources
- Compare three countries and the information still needed
- Use What-if scenarios to see the effect of language, experience, education, or job-offer milestones
- Traditional Chinese and English, dark mode, and Dynamic Type support
- Complete an assessment without signing in; profile data stays on device by default
- Optional sync is AES-GCM encrypted on device, and the cloud service does not hold the decryption key
Move Compass provides official-rule self-assessment and general information. It does not provide success probabilities, guarantees, legal advice, application preparation, filing, agency services, or representation. Rules can change; review the official sources shown in the app and seek a qualified professional when needed before acting.

Ratings & Reviews
This app hasn’t received enough ratings or reviews to display an overview.
Fixed: new users were stuck on page 3
1.4 made occupation required but the field was on page 5, so the button greyed
out with nothing on screen to fill in. Nobody could finish the questionnaire.
Sorry about that.
Occupation now sits on page 3 with the other facts that decide routes, and a
disabled button says which answer is missing. If you are not sure, "Still
studying" and "Between things" are answers rather than a way past the
question, and neither costs you a single route.
Your occupation now answers the UK question for you
The app used to ask whether your job is on the UK Skilled Worker eligible
list — which was always its job to tell you. Confirm an ISCO occupation and it
checks the Home Office's published list, mapped through the ONS SOC 2020
coding index. An occupation it cannot place stays unconfirmed; it is never
written down as a no.
Also
The occupation search no longer opens on a list of armed forces officers, and
countries fold and search when you compare routes.
