Mud Lap

Cyclocross Race & Tyre Log

Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.

Your tyre call for Sunday, built from your own races at that venue in that mud. Plus a pit plan and lap counter your helper can run. Mud Lap is the race-weekend book for club and masters cyclocross riders who line up at a veldrit every Sunday in Belgium, the Netherlands, northern France and Germany. It opens on your next race: venue, start time and a course card with sand, run-ups, barriers, off-camber and a mud level from Dry to Tacky, Greasy or Heavy. Right below sits the tyre call: tread plus front and rear pressure in bar and psi, worked out from your own previous races at that venue in that mud and corrected for whether the pressure felt too soft, spot on or too hard. PIT PLAN FOR YOUR HELPER Tap the laps where you swap to bike B, set the number of washes, give bike B its own tyres if it runs a mud tread, and share a pit card with the friend or parent working the pit. On race day they tap the lap counter once per lap. It records split times, shows which bike you are on and turns bright green on the swap lap. RACE LOG Every race with its pressure, tread, place, points and a note on how the tyres felt. Filter by mud and see your average pressures per condition. Export to CSV. VENUE BOOK 19 courses across Belgium, the Netherlands, France and Germany, from the Koksijde dunes and the sand pit at Zonhoven to the Citadelle in Namur. Each has its sections, your call for every mud level, and the lines you took there, with photos from recon. SEASON SHEET Places and points for each series you ride, a season chart and your longest run of race weekends. ALSO Rain forecast for the last three days at the venue suggests the mud level. Reminder the evening before with your tyre call. Milestones earned on the course, not for opening the app. English, Dutch, German and French. Everything stays on your iPhone or iPad. No account, no tracking.
