Murmo Notes is a voice notes app for your Apple Watch, and for your iPhone too. Raise your wrist, open the app, and it's already recording. Say the thought, tap once to stop. The recording reaches your iPhone on its own, is transcribed there, and stays on your device. On-device. No cloud. No account. No ads. ON YOUR WRIST • Tap Highlight while you talk to mark the part that matters, or Remind to turn what you're saying into a reminder. • Start from a watch face complication, Siri or Control Center. • Forgot to stop? Recording stops after you lower your wrist, or after two minutes without speech, with a gentle tap first. • Out of range? The recording waits on your watch until your iPhone confirms it has it. ON YOUR IPHONE • Tap the big record button at the bottom of your notes, or start from Siri, Shortcuts, the Action button, Control Center or a Lock Screen widget. • Stop, Highlight and Remind on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. • Recording stops after 30 seconds of silence. TRANSCRIBED ON YOUR IPHONE • Speech-to-text runs on iPhone with an on-device speech model. Your recordings are never uploaded. The watch only records. • Built for English; Mandarin Chinese works too. • Fillers like "um" are tidied away; the original is one tap away. • Teach it names it mishears with Custom Words. The original audio is kept to play back or transcribe again. REMINDERS WHEN YOU ASK • Say "remind me to call Sam tomorrow at 3" and it goes straight into Reminders. • Anything else that sounds like a to-do waits for your tap. Nothing goes into Calendar unless you tap Add to Calendar. Undo removes what the app added. FIND IT AGAIN • Notes are grouped by day. Search every word or jump to Today, Yesterday, the Last 7 Days or any earlier day. FROM FRAGMENTS TO WHOLE THOUGHTS (STANDARD) • Threads: tap Continue on a note to say more later. Notes recorded days apart stay together, so an idea grows over several recordings. Mark a thread as Shaped when it has come together. • Tags: notes are tagged automatically (Work, Ideas, Travel and more), and you can create and rename your own. • Tag cloud: see what you talk about most, and which tags are growing fastest. • Link notes to each other and see them listed under Related. APPLE INTELLIGENCE, ON DEVICE (OPTIONAL) On iPhones that support Apple Intelligence, turn on Polish to tidy a transcript with Apple's on-device model. The original text is always kept. YOUR DATA STAYS YOURS • Everything is stored on your device. The developer can't see your recordings or transcripts. • Lock with Face ID hides your notes; recording still works. • Save Place is off by default. Turn it on to save where you recorded; Apple's service names the place. • Keep original recordings forever, 1 year or 3 months. Text is never removed automatically. • Export Everything puts all your text and recordings in one zip file. PLANS • Basic is free for good: recording, transcription, playback, search, edit and copy, reminders, Polish and Export Everything. • Standard adds automatic tags, creating and editing tags, threads, the tag cloud and Related. • New installs get Standard free for 7 days, with no payment method and nothing charged. Then you're on Basic; your notes stay, and tags and threads stay read only. • Standard: $9.99 a year, renews automatically. • Lifetime: $24.99 once; Standard features for good. • Installed from the App Store before version 1.1? As promised during early access, every feature stays free for you. Nothing to buy or restore. Prices in USD; they vary by country. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm.
