Your personal art collection, always with you. Capture artworks, save exhibitions, and never lose a favourite painting again.
Every time I go to a museum or an exhibition, I end up with dozens of photos of paintings, sculptures, and details that catch my eye. They always get buried in my camera roll, and I never look at them again. Same with exhibitions: I see one I want to visit, take a photo of the ad, and by the time I see it again, it's already over.
I built Musea to fix that. Take a photo of an artwork, add the title, the artist, where you saw it, and any tags you want. Save upcoming exhibitions so you actually remember to go. Over time you end up with your own personal art collection that you can find and revisit whenever you want. Everything in one place, private and clean.
Why it exists
Most museum photos disappear into the camera roll. Musea gives them context: names, places, tags, so the memory actually sticks.
What you can do
- Capture photos of artworks you discover
- Add titles, artists, locations and dates
- Organise everything with custom tags
- Search through your collection instantly
- Keep track of exhibitions you want to visit before they end
Simple and private
Everything stays on your phone. No account to create, no data uploaded anywhere. Just an easy way to remember the artworks you love.
If you've ever gone back to find a painting you loved and couldn't remember where you saw it, Musea is for you.
Works offline. No account required. Places are added manually, no automatic location tracking. Designed to be fast and reliable.
Needs ability to transfer collection among devices
bhcoff01
Love this app but need an ability to transfer collection among devices and link artwork to exhibitions.
The other day I was at a wedding showing the app to an artist friend, and I noticed a bug. In the bulk import menu, the keyboard hid all the fields and I couldn't see what I was typing. I've fixed that, and I've also included some new things you've asked for: the ability to add the art movement and the country of the artwork, as well as making "Anonymous" available in the Artists list. Thanks for the feedback!
