Best music app hands down

No annoying adds and being able to sync music bro you just made my day especially with only having a $5 lifetime one time purchase versus apples $10 a month and they don’t even have a lifetime subscription like it’s a no brainer apple doesn’t even have a visualizer it’s like being back in the good ole nostalgia days but even better sure there’s a few quirks here and there but still beats Apple Music because this music players level is over 9000! Awesome work man I can’t wait for more future updates to come an awesome idea would be to be able to seamlessly sync music from my PC to my phone like if you guys had an program for windows and Mac that can communicate to the app for even faster music library builds but still thank you thank you thank you I was getting annoyed with Apple so much and almost started to work on my own app until I came across yours keep up the awesome work!!!

Best app for local audio

I’ve tried lots of audio players on iOS over the past few weeks, and this one by far is the best I’ve tried. It allows linking folders to import songs and audiobooks without having to copy the to the app. The interface is intuitive. The developer is helpful and responded to a few issues I came across quickly. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to play their local files.

Good start, though room to improve

This is a pretty great start, and has a lot of features that are important to me, starting with the ability to both import music from the stock Music app, while also being able to load music downloaded from e.g. Safari, via the Files app. Editing metadata in-app is great, too. That said, there’s still some room to improve. For example, the new ability to add album art to albums and/or songs sounds great, but, I can’t actually get it to work. There’s no error message, just, when I click “add”, select “local file”, and then pick a jpeg, it closes the dialog but the art isn’t actually applied. Parts of the UI feel just a bit clunky, as well, though I’m not sure I could articulate why. Anyway, all of that aside I’m still way happier with Muziqi than with the stock music app, so far. The simple act of being able to just download music and add it without hooking up your device to a workstation is like a breath of fresh air.

Please send more thoughts to sakunlabs@gmail.com or via the in-app feedback from the settings tab.- The cover editor unfortunately has a bug as you mentioned 🤦🏼. Will be fixed in the next release out soon.- The clunkiness is indeed something I am trying to address by refining the UI over time.
Good start, though room to improve

Album view?

Am I doing something wrong? When I go into “Album” view, I want to see 1 entry for each album. I don’t want to see every song listed separately. That’s not an Album view just because the songs from each album are listed next to each other. ADDED to respond to developer: Based on what I am seeing, your app is skipping Album Artist entirely and just using the Artist field instead. For example, if I have an album by one artist, and that artist is listed as Album Artist for EVERY song, but one or two songs have another artist listed with him/her in the Artist field, then each of those songs gets a separate Album entry regardless of the fact that the Album Artist field is the same throughout the album.

It's hard to figure out issues over reviews :) Muziqi, like Apple's Music app, takes the view that a songs with the same Album Artist will be grouped in one album. If no Album Artist is present, then Artist will be used.So if two songs are from the album "Unplugged", but with different artists, they would be bucketed into different albums, which makes sense, right? But this is not ideal for albums such as Movie Soundtracks (probably what you are seeing).You could edit your files to include Album Artist, or you could edit the Album in Muziqi as well.
