App Lock/Unlock Functionality Disappointment

My Ocean One was delivered earlier this week and rather than using the fob key, I wanted to get used to basic arm/disarm & powering on function via the phone app. Unfortunately, I have encountered lag issues with app response. I never know whether the lock/unlock function has worked. Whenever I use the app to lock the car I can here the arming beep, though the app spools and shows in red up top of the app “something went wrong” message and then reverts to unlock status on the app. Then even the highlighted unlock sign disappears with no indication whether vehicle is locked or unlocked! The app engineers absolutely have to focus attention and shift to use of vehicle functionality rather than the informational and ordering functions which has been great thus far. Will be great to add 360 camera view when the car is parked like is available for other vehicles.

Great Automobile, Horrible App

The app is really clunky, crashes frequently, and performs as if it were created in iOS 2.0.

As for the design and layout of the app, I expected a lot more coming from a company that is so cutting edge. It is it user fully at all. It is confusing, counter intuitive, and just a really poor overall design. It was over 20 minutes before I realized that I could not configure two of the three models because they are not going into production until 2024. Whenever I clicked on configure, it would always default to the Ocean model with no explanation why. After I realized that the only model available was the ocean, figuring out how to configure different elements of the vehicle was frustrating and gives the user little to no instruction.

This isn’t my first time configuring a new vehicle online. I used GM’s vehicle configuration utility to build my 2019 corvette and breezed right through it. It was very user friendly, gave the user instruction along the way, as well as notifying the user when there was an error and explained why. Fisher’s app had none of these elements. Their website is equally as baffling. It’s really putting me off to purchasing one of these vehicles and if there is no dealership where I live, I will be forced to purchase an EV from another manufacturer. Horrible app. Don’t bother with it.

LOVE the car NOT the app

This app is such a basic bare bone app i literally never use it because it adds nothing to the ownership experience. It doesn’t control anything in the car but the locks, California mode, and the trunk. and it takes way too long to connect to the car to perform any of these functions if it connects at all. the customer support chat is terrible. There needs to be a way to talk to someone to address concerns. I want an app that would control features of my car remotely like turning on the heated seats and steering wheel before I have to go out to the car to drive. Also my phone with the app should be able to function as a key for the car so I don’t necessarily have to bring the key fob with me every time I drive it. The car knows my phone is connected so then I wouldn’t get the annoying messages stating no key is detected when the key is in the cup holder of the car. I LOVE THE CAR AND THE COMPANY AND REALLY WANT IT TO SUCCEED BUT YOUVE GOT TO GET SOME OF THIS STUFF RIGHT. I have several other suggestions that would have huge impact on customer experience just not sure where to go to give feedback.
