Mitsubishi Connect is an innovative platform of services available exclusively on the Eclipse Cross that provide vehicle owners with a safe, secure and convenient driving experience. The My Mitsubishi Connect Mobile Application allows users to register and access the Mitsubishi Connect services. This includes the ability to request remote commands to your vehicle such as remote door lock/unlock, climate control, horn, lights, vehicle settings, car finder, and parental controls. The mobile app also allows users to manage their account settings and notifications, as well as to contact Customer Care for inquiries on the Mitsubishi Connect Safeguard and Remote Service Packages.

They need to fix some bugs
It’s a cool concept, I have friends that have ones that work well for other brands of cars, this one is super slow and inconvenient to use to start my car. I often opt out of warming my car in these cold northern conditions just because I end up having to stare at my phone screen for too long to get it to work. Same feedback as other people. Not always easy to log in, takes a long time for the app to open and takes a long time to connect to the car when I send the request to start it, not always working. I’m always in good cellular and always 30 feet or less from the car.

Great concept, not so great product
The idea of the app is great, the concepts behind it would be very convenient and has the ability to bring value to the vehicle if it worked properly. I have had to delete and re load the app many times, the climate settings portion of the app would not work properly unless I would delete it and then download again. The requests rarely go through and it often alerts me that my
Requests have timed out. Because the app is so slow it’s often times easier to just walk out to the car and do it manually then deal with the headache of the app. The app needs a lot of backend work to increase speed and reliability, until then this app does not add any value to the vehicle or make the Mitsubishi brand any better then its competitors.

Does not work
I’ve tried it in area with full cell signal on all carriers. Clear site to the sky and nothing “Remote lights to vehicle unable to be completed”. I called support got someone right away who was quick to blame iOS 12 and say “sorry you have to wait for the update”. Tried it on an iPhone running 11.3 same results. Look online after support mentioned a “web portal” to use the features, it must be hidden on the deep web or marianas cause I cannot find it. I found the “owners portal” but not anything close to the feature portal support spoke of or which has screenshot displayed on the Connect “media” page. This is disappointing. One star until I see it work at least once. I did not get the invalid VIN error like others, I verified my VIN while troubleshooting on my own.
