Mitsubishi Connect is an innovative platform of services that provide vehicle owners with a safe, secure, and convenient driving experience. The My Mitsubishi Connect Mobile Application allows users to register and access the Mitsubishi Connect services. This includes the ability to request remote commands to your vehicle such as remote start, door lock/unlock, horn, lights, schedule dealer services, car finder, and parental controls. Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicle services include ability to view charging status, manage charging schedules and settings. The mobile app also allows users to manage their account settings and notifications, as well as to contact Customer Care for inquiries on the Mitsubishi Connect Safeguard and Remote Service Packages.

I been using the app with the free subscription for a while year. It was perfect no issues, I loved it! The subscription expired so I decided the money was worth it to keep this feature. So 2 days ago I paid to renew my subscription for the past two days this app hasn’t worked one time. I tried every feature on the app, car finder, remote start, unlock/lock, and lights everything has failed. I have about 40 notifications of it failing from different location, wifi on, wifi turned off, inside the car literally doesn’t matter it doesn’t work! At this rate I’m going to be looking into a refund, why pay for a service that doesn’t! I haven’t used this app one time since I purchased it, with over 40 attempts!
Doesn’t work rip-off no faith in Mitsubishi
So I wanted a new car. I had had a good experience with two Mitsubishis in the past. I decided that I would get the most expensive one with all the bells and whistles. I live in Buffalo so automatic car starter is important. They told me it doesn’t have one built in but i can do it through this “great” app that it comes with. The first two years are free but then it costs 99$. I thought okay.
Well it was two years of a nonstop headache of constantly re-logging in, failed to work, and spending 30 mins figuring out something that I should be able to instantly do with a button on my key fob. Customer service rarely helped after sitting on hold when I just wanted my car started. But whatever. Swallowed that. Now it’s the third year, and the only option for a remote car is to pay 230$ for a year subscription. Are you kidding? That’s the cost of an after market remote car starter for one year. I’m absolutely not paying for tHis faulty product and giving them anymore money. Who would have thought that paying 35k for a Mitsubishi would be such a headache. Nobody seems to care to help me resolve my frustrations any of the numerous times I’ve tried. This is the last time I’m buying a car from this company and I hope at least someone sees through all these fake 5stars to all the actual real negative ones. Nobody has anything good to say about this app. Ruined the brand.

Needs more improvement
I had a Chevy Colorado truck with an app like this one and the differences make me regret ever giving up my Colorado. Firstly, by the time i get this app open to start my car, I’m already by my car. It takes such a long time to load up and to answer the prompts just to get it to start. Then, there was a time i locked myself out of my car. I had my key fob with me and my phone but my doors were locked and the car was on. Both the key fob and this app could do nothing to unlock my doors. What’s the point of this app, if not to atleast unlock my doors in situations like this. My Chevrolet Colorado would never hassle me this much. Their app was so seemless and helped me in so many situations. I could go on but lastly, you have to be within one mile to locate your car with this app. What is the point. Again, my Chevy could locate my truck anywhere AND unlock it from the app, even across the city. Which came in handy in SO many situations. Please upgrade this app, and make it worth it because right now, it’s more of a headache than helpful. And it’s making me miss my Chevy. That is all.
