New App My SmartBike, by MAHLE, provides you an enhanced e-bike riding experience by using your smartphone as the interface to your bicycle. Our application is designed to help tune, customize e-bike performance and enjoy your trips. Connect with your e-bike and adjust your preferences, customize motor maps to adapt the MAHLE SmartBike System to your personal necessities, remaining batteries, record your activities, have access to statistics, see bike location and more.
If you need detailed information and a dynamic experience, our web app (www.my-smartbike.com) enables you to analyze the routes in detail and graphically comparing data as elevation, health-related data and exclusive metrics from e-bikes, the tour on maps and share it through third platforms.

Glad to see some of the improvements on this app. Best one is the ability to change from eco to tour to turbo on the smartphone.

App crashed and lost data
The recently updated version crashed during my ride and I lost data on the ride. I have a x20 system on a BMC Amp. I was in smart assist at 10% sensitivity. I changed the level of sensitivity to 20% on my iPhone 13 Pro Max and not long after I lost connection and the app went to the login screen. Logged in and the smart assist button was not available to use. At the time I was using my Apple Watch app which I’m not familiar with. The Auto HR was working and continued the ride.
The day before, I used the same bike with the new app version and experienced a blinking red light mid way through the ride. I stopped and turned the bike off and restarted the bike and solved the red light issue. I think I was changing the sensitivity level to 0% and realized that I was still getting power at same level as the 10 %
I have used the Smart Assist with the past version and routinely changed the smart assist to my comfort level.

Mahle X20 vs Ebikemotion (more!) power/output difference
I’ve had the Ebikemotion Pinerillo Dyodo for 5 years (now with Mahle app) now and love it, although it has considerable drag at all 3 levels when you stop pedaling, of course heavy too.
Just purchased an new Oreba Gain custom build with the new X20 system, which I’m very impressed with the improvements…EXCEPT there is a entire level difference in power. I ran Level 2 on the Dyodo majority of time, but on X20 I have to run Level 3 and it’s still not as powerful. What’s the problem here? Will adjusting the Motor Maps Customer Max on all 3 Levels help? Spent over $10,000 on the Gain and it’s almost to hard to do hills with my heart failure issues. Please HELP! Thank you.
