Depending on your Sun Life plan, contract or account, you can:

* Submit medical and dental claims for instant processing and easily check their status
* Find out what your medical plan covers
* Send some documents by snapping a photo
* Have your coverage cards handy wherever you go
* Check your health spending and personal spending account balances
* View details of most of your personal insurance policies

Easily manage your investments – including your workplace, personal mutual fund and segregated fund products.
* Check your balances, view your investment transaction history and see how your workplace investment plans, products and funds are performing over time
* Contribute to your workplace retirement and savings plans when it's convenient for you
* Send us a photo of forms we may need such as name, address and banking changes, void cheques, and more
* Eligible plan members can direct health claim payments to selected savings products

It's an efficient app, especially to submit claims. The only thing is that they need to update the providers list, as some of their info is not the current one (addresses for example).

Claims settlements clunky and frustrating

The app states don’t upload documents (like a prescription) unless asked and then it’s submitted. But every single time, the claim is rejected because you’re asked to submit a prescription online in the app AFTER having submitted your claim. And why does one have to resubmit copies of prescriptions for the same medical service treatment type each time? Why can’t we save copies of prescriptions on our online file so SunLife can access them instead of having to submit them every. single. time! Frustrating.
