This is incredibly sad, and I also cannot depend on this for simple routes. 1. Make it so a person can review the turn by turn directions, esp if you only provide next turn info. This gets hard navigating an unfamiliar route and I’ve missed multiple turns because it takes a minute to catch up after a couple turns in a row. Also, show next turn somewhere, so next turn and turn after that. 2. If your off route, there are two choices go back to route or stop and redo the route. Google will auto re-route. Without it re-routing you have to stick to the route. I still think it would be best to offer it as an option, because it also frustrates me when google changes a route to save me 30 seconds. 3. The app continues to use location even when you have it, while using application. Could you do a power off button like waze? I am having to go back and forth now to setting to give and take away permissions. Agreed with prior comment, don’t buy the Triumph for Navigation, but other than that it seems to be a nice bike. Also, maybe look at other developers or options. Some of the issues from a year ago are still issues. It doesn’t have any good ratings. We need a nice app for a nice bike.

No new features in 3 years

Summer 2025 update: No new features as far as I can see since my last review 3 years ago. Still can’t delete Stored Rides. Still can’t save anything to Favorites list. Still can’t save a route directly from map. All I see is updates for newer IOS versions and newer bike models. This is unacceptable from a brand like Triumph! You’re losing market share due to this lame app. Others are now offering full map displays and rich feature sets. C’mon Triumph, get with it!Sept 2022 v1.2.3 update: Stored Rides has a Favorites, but there doesn’t seem any way to save a fav. When saving a ride it automatically goes to Stored. When navigating, ETA is the ETA of the next turn, not the ETA of the route. If bike time is set to 12 Hr display and ETA is after noon, ETA incorrectly shows as AM, but will show correctly if time display is set to 24 Hr clock. As others noted, bad names for hiway exit ramps is really annoying and dangerous. Nav also uses out of date street names, like years out of date! These incorrect Nav instructions are inexcusable if Google Maps are under the covers.August: Yay!! Finally some stellar updates! Being able to import GPX routes and store them for future use is a total game changer for this app. Ability to save completed free ride or nav ride is awesome as well. Now we just need to be able to create a route on nav screen and save it for future use.

Renders a $260 accessory worthless

I was very excited about getting the connectivity module on my bike, but this app has made it completely useless. I keep getting errors trying to connect, and if I want to attempt to use it, I have to spend 10 minutes trying to pair it at the start of every ride (and then it is hit or miss if it will work) It also doesn’t show anything on the screen (call alerts, text alerts, etc) as it is supposed to. There is, as far as I can see, no way to update the software on the module with the app, and they have not updated phone compatibilities in several generations, so it is likely only compatible with phones that are 3-4 years old. At this point it is so clunky, frustrating, and cumbersome to use that it honestly seems like a safety hazard while riding. Swing and a miss triumph, please try again so my $260 plus installation fee wasn’t flushed down the toilet.
Great app

Updated 08/18:Great to see that the app of being improved with newer features! Happy to know that folks at triumph are not sleeping post release of the v1.0.Feature request: Saving frequently visited PoIs like Home, Work, Gym etc to avoid keying in the address everytime. Please allow for users to save a min of 5 frequently visited places as ‘speed dial’. ****************************************************Updates as on 01/26: Using the app for a few weeks, feel the following can be improved 1. Show the map and route updates/ traffic updates (with navigation prompts) on the amazing TFT screen Tigers have. 2. Show trip metrics e.g. Speed/ Top speed/ Lean Angle/ Fuel Consumption 3. Allow bike ride planning in advance and save atleast 5 future trips. 4. Allow atleast 2 fav POIs , home & office so that it’s faster to get going. ——•—•—I love the interface and it’s certainly handy to have the navigation prompts on the beautiful/ large TFT screen (phone can be in your pocket/ no need to use the phone screen for navigation). The pairing was a bit tricky thought - the instructions are great for iOS but one key requirement is missing - your phone’s name/Bluetooth name can’t be long (say more than 15 to 20 characters, if that is the case the pairing will be successful but navigation will not connect. I got to solve it by Trail & Error. This should be added as a call out on the instructions. Overall great app!
