Good app, but still find myself preferring the website at times
Been using the site for years and been hoping for an app version one day. When I found out MDL was getting an app version I downloaded it as soon as It dropped.
So far it’s been working great until maybe the last couple months…. Mostly all the features work fine however, more than a few times. I’ve noticed that every time I open a show page to look at the drama info and want to scroll down past the synopsis section, the app completely freezes up and I can’t do anything except close the app completely. I make sure I update the app as often as possible and I do understand that there may be bugs but, the constant freezing of the app just keeps me from actually using the app so much that I still keep finding myself just using the site on my web browser instead.
Prefer browser version
The app works fine but I prefer the looks of the mobile and desktop versions. App doesn’t seem to show everything on a drama’s page and my personal watchlist isn’t as sortable as it is on the regular version. The app is simple to use at least and not hard to figure out so I’ll still recommend it.
P. S. I’ve found that if you block someone, you’ll still see their comments on the app. Please fix this, I block people so I don’t have to see their negative, unconstructive comments.
Great for finding new dramas!
I’ve been using the website for many years and have only recently downloaded the app. It has an easy to use and seamless interface which I love- it’s not too cluttered which makes it easy to navigate. It has everything the website did, so keeping track of what you’ve watched, plan to watch + recommendations is super easy. The only thing I would add is the possibility to browse photos of the dramas since I am unable to find this option on the app and it’s something which I always use to get a feel of the dramas and the cast. Overall, it’s a pretty good app so far!
