The Nalco Water E-data mobile app provides a simple, practical way for both sales associates and customers to capture and track system-specific data quickly and securely. The E-data mobile app helps customers ensure water systems are performing optimally and helps to proactively identify when corrective actions should be taken.
The Nalco Water E-data app makes it easy to:
• Capture and record water chemistry, inventory and water meter data for systems not connected to automatic instrumentation
• Trigger alerts and notifications for results outside of preset limits

E-Data is the future
Assuming you set up a configuration on envision properly, this app is seamless. It eliminates the need to have a laptop out while performing service, just type in your readings straight to the app and it can load straight to a PSR. You can also write comments on parameters and configurations that will show up in a PSR along with your readings within the app. The condensed information allows for a more concise report that your customer has an easier time scanning through, with less work required from you. Everybody wins. Only reason it’s not a full 5 stars is because there are still a few wrinkles that need to be ironed out, but that’s largely because this app is under constant improvement and can have bugs every now and then.
Helpful and a pain
I love the idea of the app and it does help out with reducing time on the computer but I had to give it 2 stars because it always crashes and erases all my inputs. I would greatly appreciate it if this got resolved because it is the #1 down flaw of this and is a huge pain to deal with. PLEASE UPDATE AND GET THIS FIXED!!!
Severe battery drain
App is more reliable with version 2 but battery drain is severe. Have iphone 6s, started using app at 85% battery, used app to enter data; turned phone off in between entering data points and ended up with 20% battery by the time i saved. Total on time was probably 10 min. UPDATE: tried updated version, battery drain not as bad but app still unstable. Very slow moving from systems like boilers, ct’s and inventory. Entered multiple data points only to have app crash and losing all data, this despite it is supposed to be saving when you navigate from one system to another . Really want this to work correctly
