Would love to see sponsors be able to log service hours so credit can be given for students who chose not to use the app. Or for group activities, sponsor can select multiple members for the same hours.

As the coordinator for awards for junior convention in Louisiana, I previously spent many hours creating notification tags to have students deliver to the different clubs when we received the top five lists. Now all we do is say check the app make sure you close it out and re-open to update and if your name is there please come side stage at this time. My life at Beta convention has been forever improved!
I also love that students can vote on the app and the schedules and maps are updated. It is the best thing to come along!

As a sponsor the app is a great tool especially at state and national convention. However, for day to day use it is severely lacking. Many of my members complain of the app crashing when they go to submit their hours. I would love to see some improvements such as creating a way for sponsors to look at specific students hours and seeing a breakdown of of their hours instead of just their total. I would also like to have a better sync of the data to the website. On the app we at least have the students names but on the website most of the hours, if they show up at all, have only the member ID. While this does tell who the member is, it’s not very efficient.

One of the main things the app boasts about it being able to compare your club to other clubs in the nation. That being said it is kind of hard to compare when the app says that there is no data to compare for specific service hours. Currently the only service hours that have data showing up are: *all *animal welfare *environmental *school beautification *other. This is frustrating because I know for a fact that we have many hours logged for the other categories. This is honestly the main bug that I would like to see fixed.

One last thing many of my members have voiced their concerns with the app not starting each school year from scratch and just continuing to add to the hours from previous years. They are concerned because not all schools started using the app at the same time but they are being “compared” to schools that have been using it for years now where as this is our first year. I don’t know if anything can be done about that but it would be nice to have on the sponsors side of things to see the breakdown by school “years”, to see if we are able to increase our service ours each year or are we remaining steady.

Overall there are some pretty annoying, and major, bugs that need to be fixed. If they can’t be fixed what is the point of the app except for information about conventions. If they want this to just be about conventions then they need to market it as that and leave the rest alone.
