Just what we needed

I particularly like that a notification pops whenever a new NAVADMIN posts. And searchability is a nice function. Would be even better if when the user shares the link, it references from the original source rather than github.

Functional and efficient, but broken since myHR

TLDR: app is amazing but broken. Contribute to the developer if you want to help get this fixed promptly!

This app is basically exactly what you want for its purpose - simple, easy to use, functional, and surprisingly free to use with no ads. Unfortunately, since mid-February (move to myHR?) the app has not updated any new messages (I’m assuming because the old web interface is designed for the old NAVADMIN website?). If the developer fixes this, then it’d be back to five star status, however even without a fix it deserves a record in the app history books for its original functionality. To all users like me, please contribute to the developer as remember he did this entirely for free (free to use, no ads, no in-app purchases other than the option to contribute $0.99 to the developer)!
Still, please fix (and thank you for the useful, niche app)!

Developer Response ,

Good evening, I've updated the app so Navy messages should be updating again. Thanks for your support!

You got greedy

Only viewable for the past three. That is a poor business model. If you want revenue put in some adds you will get more revenue from adds than paid subscriptions

Thanks for your suggestion. I would rather not force you to watch a candy crush video ad each time you view a message. No-ads is a better experience to users and generates more revenue for app development and operations. Users’ time saved is worth more than $4.99 (less than 2 meals underway)." - Dev

I would disagree, as someone who has a degrees in Information Sciences and Technology and who has worked in Psychology for over a decade. But to each there own. I don’t know about my brothers and sisters , but I would much rather go through a small add then pay a monthly sub any day! 😎🤙. - former Sailor of 12 years / Data Scientist

😂 just please no wish ads 😂

I see your reply. Ad revenue for this app is dead on arrival due to no ad networks reliably supporting offline bid and monetization. Forced engagement is...iffy. Sponsorship may be feasible but the NEX doesn't seem interested.
