So I’ve just downloaded and tried this for the first time so I haven’t actually tried any of the recommendations yet but so far this app really is pretty neat. It identified a couple problems I was already noticing myself and has given me helpful tips for correcting them before they get worse. This app is definitely worth your time, especially if you have chronic or painful foot issues.

It’s a gimmick

As someone who works in the industry and fits people this came in with a size that was 1.5 sizes smaller than my actual foot and made no account for the extra space needed for lactic acid build up that swells the feet. If I had taken the recommendation I would be suffering with loss toenails, foot numbness and arch pain. Also this app says I am 90% chance that there is something wrong with my feet, so that I pay a little extra money. There is nothing wrong with my feet.
So size was way off, bogus claims about foot problems and also the recommendations of footwear were so random and inappropriate that there is no point of it even suggesting foot wear.
Want a free way to find out about your foot? Go to your local specialty running store and get a hair analysis by someone who has been trained. Even if you don’t want running shoes most stores will still provide the service for no charge.
This app is insulting.

First off, I’m really sorry that you did not enjoy using our app.

We have been working on the technology for over 2 years now, so please understand that we have done our best to utilize the best in AI, AR and ML technology, to scan & measure our users’ feet, and make sneaker recommendations accordingly.

Our app works for thousands of people, but occasionally the data that is calculated is not what users expect and/or not to their preference; or it’s wrong.

As you know, the fundamental issue with doing what we do, is that everyone has a different idea of what sneaker fit is best for them.

Lastly, our AI-health assessment algorithms, in essence, compare users’ foot images to those of others with various foot health issues, and report the results (along with a % health risk for each). If you don’t actually have a problem, then we’re happy for you…I hope you stay healthy!

Great shoe sizing app

The app works pretty good for finding shoe size, however am using the app within a family and there does not appear to be a way to store profiles for each member of the family. In essence I have to delete the profile, scan one kid at a time, then delete and go through whole process again for my other kid and wife. Surely would be better if I could scan the family so they each have their measurements stored in the app.

The second issue is that the app does not seem to use the technology available with the LIDAR equipped iPhones. Was expecting to easily use the LIDAR scanner to create a 3D representation of feet.

Both of the above I would love to see in future updates or releases but until now, app is not nearly as useful as it could be.

Supporting multiple user accounts is a great idea. We considered adding this feature for quite some time but didn’t manage to do it yet.


We use the TrueDepth camera system to get precise depth measurements similar to LiDAR. The TrueDepth camera is front-facing, as opposed to LiDAR, which allows us to provide visual feedback on the screen.
