Neru Plan is a smart culinary ecosystem that handles all the math and logistics of cooking. The name comes from the Japanese verb "練る" (neru) — "to carefully cultivate a plan."
SMART RECIPE IMPORT
Import recipes from photos, screenshots, or paste a link to any website. The step-by-step wizard guides you through source, info, ingredients, instructions, and nutrition. On-device AI using Apple Intelligence parses recipes locally with 100% privacy — no data sent to any server. Works fully offline.
THE "ATOM" SYSTEM
Ingredients aren't stored as plain text. "Tomato" in your soup and "Tomatoes" in your salad automatically merge into one item on your shopping list, powered by a database of 1,290+ standard ingredients. No more duplicates!
RECIPE TRANSLATOR
Translate any recipe into 7 languages (English, Russian, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Chinese) directly in the app using Apple's on-device Translation — no internet required. The translated version saves as a new recipe; the original is never modified.
QR CODE SHARING
Share any recipe as a QR code — one tap to export, one camera scan to import. A built-in QR scanner is included inside Neru Plan for instant person-to-person sharing. No accounts or internet needed.
FLEXIBLE MEAL PLANNING
Infinite calendar with breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack slots — or create custom events like "Weekend Camping" or "Birthday Party". Drag & Drop moves dishes between days. Daily and per-meal nutrition summary (calories, protein, fat, carbs) is shown right in the planner.
DYNAMIC SCALING
Change serving sizes for any planned dish. The app recalculates ingredients for your shopping list without modifying the original recipe. Fractional servings (0.5, 1.5) are supported.
SMART SHOPPING LIST
Automatic aggregation: 200g flour from one recipe + 300g from another = 500g on your list. Unit conversion handles cups, tablespoons, and ounces — everything converts to metric. Shopping mode with checkboxes shows which recipe each ingredient comes from. Export the list as text to share anywhere.
EXPORT & IMPORT
Share recipes as QR codes or JSON files. Export your entire recipe library as one backup file. Open recipe links from Safari or any browser directly in Neru Plan via the Share Extension — no copying needed.
SYNC & ECOSYSTEM
Automatic iCloud synchronization between iPhone and iPad. View the original recipe source through the built-in browser without leaving the app.
PRIVACY
No cloud AI. All processing uses Apple Foundation Models locally on your device. Your recipes are yours alone.
