NFL 2K Playmakers 9+

First off I would just ignore people that give the bad reviews or say it’s bland or boring, the game just came out so I don’t understand why they are expected a Gordon Ramsey tier of a game, for it being brand new it’s a good game, it’s just a great game to waste some time. Is it pay to win!?, ofcourse it is, what 2k,nfl and catdaddy game isn’t. Thats your decision if you want to go broke or not. Gameplay is nice, I’m roughly 3 days in and I’m 40k on my deck and level 17 with $0 spent, First “event card is like the wwe supercard game mode with obstacles, if you want it your looking for about $100 spent. Doesn’t take long to reach the top, yes it’s a grind but well worth it. Great game developer’s and already added double draft picks due to nfl drafts. 100% would recommend trying the game out.

This had the potential, or perhaps still has, to be a fun game. It desperately needs to be tuned. It kind of makes you want to delete the game when you pick the correct plays, offense has a 10% chance, for 3 plays in a row, and they march down for a touchdown. What’s the point if that is the case. Another part is the season play…. You have 8 plays to score (for example), you get to 7 and there is no option for a field goal if you are close. Or situations where you need multiple runs and all that comes up is pass plays… or my favorite… you need 10 yards on 4th and your 3 choices are under 10 yards. Makes no sense. The same when on defense, the opponent needs a first down, but picks a play that can’t possibly get them there. Disappointed is an understatement. The card collecting aspect is somewhat okay, it would be nice if you could level up your plays somehow when they are at max level. Picking cards after a game, am I the only one that always makes it to the last card as an option… seriously. As far as the seasons go…tell me how you get an objective of scoring a touchdown in 6 or less play, do so in 6 plays, and fail. Not quite sure I follow that. Hopefully this game receives updates and progresses forward.

I’ve been casually playing since it came out and it’s a decent time waster but I see no point in grinding. It takes way too long to get a pack for just a regular gold and the first promo that drop cost premium currency with no way to get a lot of premium currency it’s obvious it wants your money. That’s not a good sign hopefully they add a way for f2p to have a fighting chance against the whales. However my biggest concern though is the way percentages have been working for me, the amount of times the ai won with 10% percent it’s actually laughable it’s clearly rigged if 10% is that high of a chance I need to go to the casino right now. Also I played 1 match in season mode literally made the correct choice each time with better players each time and still somehow lost, its clear that they don’t want you to have a perfect record forever because that was the most rigged match of anything I’ve ever played.
