Description
Nickel Navigator is a support tool for individuals on a low-nickel diet. It presents nickel data for over 800 foods from hundreds of national food studies and scientific articles, while taking serving size into consideration. Explore the food groups to see which foods are highest and lowest in nickel, or search for a food. Drill down into the data to understand how a food's nickel content varies, and the reliability of the statistics for that food. Estimate your daily nickel intake using the food journal. Amazing!
I’m so grateful for this app! I had been using an excel sheet with lots of cross-referencing formulas until I found this app. It is so easy to document food/nickel intake or to look up a type of food and the design is super intuitive. I love even more that they don’t collect any user data, especially since this is health data. Most of all I’m grateful that this app makes manageable an allergy that can sometimes take a lot of cognitive effort to stay on top of. Thank you!!!
Lifesaver!
This is an incredible app for those of us who suffer from Systemic Nickel Allergy Syndrome. It is thoroughly and diligently researched and presented with clarity and transparency. I cannot believe that this developer has put so much work into it, yet asks nothing for it. I would gladly pay for a subscription! I have used the website, but now am over the moon that there is an app for Apple devices! Thank you.
Life Saver - OMG
This app is really a life-saver for my chronic skin and G.I. conditions. After over 30 years my conditions have improved dramatically after a month of following the guidance in this app. I expect full recovery at this rate. I cannot thank the developer of this app enough… OMG!
