Simple and practical. The app does does its job. It would cool if an option with on/off switch and an edit box for money symbols that make the app apply its function only on numbers preceded by that symbol. Nevertheless I recommend it.
Unique Expense or Finance App
This is a very unique way of tracking expenses or a list of expenses which allows you to do a “freestyle” approach to entering financial transactions. I really like the CSV export and search functions.
If you watch the tutorial, you can see ways to organize this information by using folders such as banks, credit cards, cash, etc. You could also use folders to group sets of folders to get a grand total such as all credit cards. Or, you can set up a folder as a date and include all the transactions for that day and what credit cards were used. Of course, this would cause some redundancy.
As for improvements, I would suggest a button to add a date stamp to make it easier entering dates. Also, the CSV file contains a date. It might be helpful if an option was available to automatically display this in each note.

A button to enter today’s date is a great idea! As for the dates in CSV, which are actually last modified dates, I’ll consider showing them without making the interface too cluttered. Thanks for the suggestion!
Simple, but very useful!
When I have a list of expenses, showing the items and amounts for each one, I can paste the list into this app, and I instantly get the total amount. It saves manually reentering all of the numbers on a calculator! There have been many times when I could have used this.
Developer Response ,
I’m happy that you find my app useful. You may already know this, but numbers are recognized only when they’re surrounded by white spaces. So, putting extra characters next to dates, for instance like 06/22/19, may help reduce your tasks of omitting unwanted numbers. Hope it helps. Thanks for your review!
