Numfold folds big numbers into small ones. Every game shows one small step and asks for one tap. No typing, no timer pressure in Practice, nothing to sign up for.
The six games
• Digit Chain — fold a long number down to one digit. 4 + 5 = 9, 9 + 3 = 12 → 3, 3 + 3 = 6 … the last tap is the answer. From 3 digits to 16.
• Carry — add in columns from the right and keep the carry in your head. Take-away with borrows and three-number sums come later. Up to six digits.
• Ladder — a start number, then one operation at a time that folds away: 17, +8, ×2, −14, ÷4, +6. Pick where you landed. Up to 14 rungs.
• Balance — one missing digit levels a scale: 7 + ▢ = 15. Later brackets, two-digit numbers and times tables to twelve.
• Tens — a grid of digits; tap the one that makes ten with the lit cell until the grid is clear.
• Times — long multiplication one column at a time: 7 × 6 = 42, tap the 2, carry the 4.
Ways to play
• Practice — twelve levels per game, three stars each, no clock to beat.
• Sprint — sixty seconds, how many can you fold?
• Endless — puzzle after puzzle on your daily hearts; the numbers grow as you go.
• Today's six — one puzzle per game every day, the same for everyone. Finish all six for a perfect day and keep your streak. If you like, compare times on the optional Game Center leaderboard.
• Zen — any game, any level, no hearts, no clock (with Numfold Complete).
Made to feel good
• Taps land instantly. A right answer folds into place with a sound and a haptic; a wrong one shows the right digit for a moment and moves on.
• Eleven original sound effects, a dark look and a light look, big keys if you want them.
• Apple Watch: all six games in short rounds on your wrist. iPad too.
