The Northwest Public Broadcasting App:
The Northwest Public Broadcasting App allows you to enjoy the services of Northwest Public Broadcasting - radio and TV (NPR and PBS). Listen and watch your favorite shows/clips anywhere you want to. You can also pause and rewind live audio, and view radio and TV program schedules! You can explore, watch and listen to On Demand stories whenever you want and share stories with your friends!
Live Radio Streaming:
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from Northwest Public Broadcasting even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing.
• Integrated program schedules for Northwest Public Broadcasting streams!
• One-click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to Northwest Public Broadcasting in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!

NWPB APP
I enjoy the TV and radio programs I obtain while using this APP. Unfortunately, there are occasions when I have a problem getting to The Newshour. During these times, I open the APP, choose The Newshour, a Masterpiece or other type of advertisement runs, and then the system becomes frozen. I shut down the IPad, restart, and go through the routine listed above again. Normally I am able to get the Newshour and all is well. Yes, it’s a first world problem, but exceedingly frustrating none the less.
Fabulous connection to NWPR
I've used this app since I got my iPhone years ago and the app makes it so easy to listen wherever you are. I recently moved to NM and found the local PR stations lacking, so I continue to listen to this app to keep me up to date. I do wish it would skip telling me that they’ve updated the news stream when I hit Play and just play. The app is pretty basic and could use some improvements, but I find it to be sufficient for my needs and have no real problems with it.
Enjoyable classical music and reliable news
I'm enjoying the great evening music stream on this app. Streams flawlessly on wireless. The buttons work fine and I wear glasses and have arthritis in my hands. The menus give lots of ways to listen. Wish the local news could be listed in on demand. Good work NWPB!
