Does not display Readiness Status
I should have checked to make sure that obdeleven was able to display emissions check readiness status. It does not. I recommend choosing a different scanner if that matters to you.
Not great
Have had the 1st generation (white color) device for several years. Was never that great for diagnosis but it would read error codes. Now need to use an iOS device (iPad) so I got the newest version of their software from the Apple Store, but it turns out that the app only works with the newer next gen obd11 device, not compatible my earlier model.

Thanks for sharing. Please note that these older units only support Android and do not support iOS systems - we try our best to label it thusly on our web-store as well as appoint respective notices on the OBDeleven mobile app too. The latter of which informs users that it only supports newer (black) NextGen devices.
Hope that helps you better understand the compatibility of our apps and devices.
Very limited
Got this scanner after checking that my vehicle (BMW) was supported. But in reality it can only do a very basic diagnostic, there is no One-Click application available, etc. Disappointed.

Hey there,
Thanks for sharing. When it comes to BMW connections, there are two possible outcomes: Advanced Diagnostics & One-Click Apps or OBD2 basic diagnostics for the engine and transmission units.
Both of which only apply for 2008 and newer E, F, G and I series. If your car fits these requirements, you should, by all means, be able to access the former of the two from the U.S. region. Do not hesitate to contact our dedicated customer support about this via the mobile app's "Help" section.
