Ohm Studio is an on-device music workspace for macOS and iPad. Model setup is explicit; after setup, your prompts, imported audio, generations, and exports stay on your device. On Mac, an optional Bring Your Own Key mode can route lyrics writing to your own OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, or OpenRouter account; it is off by default, and music generation and stem separation always stay on your Mac.
ON IPAD
* Generate instrumental music with a pinned ACE-Step model and export 48 kHz WAV files.
* Import audio through the iPadOS picker and share finished files.
* Cancel, resume, verify, and remove the consent-gated local model download.
ON MAC
* Generate with MiniMax H3 on the 14-inch MacBook Pro (Nov 2023), M3 Max, 36 GB memory (Mac15,10): 10–180 seconds of stereo 32 kHz WAV audio, lyrics as prompt text, sampling steps and seed.
* H3 requires a 32,443,213,394-byte model download. Full songs can take hours: one three-minute instrumental with 20 steps took about 3 hours 45 minutes while other work ran on the Mac. Times vary. Renders stop after four hours; use fewer steps or a shorter duration if needed. H3 does not support reference audio, adapters or training.
* Keep using ACE-Step for generation and local adapter training; saved recipes keep their original model identity.
* Generate and curate takes, with waveforms drawn from each take's own audio.
* Co-write structured lyrics, train local adapters, and separate stems locally.
* Send a finished take straight into Ohms Sample or Ohms Terrain — the file stays on your Mac and the receiving app opens on it.
TAKE LAB, EVERYWHERE
* Select two to four recent takes, play them from one shared position, and switch without restarting playback.
* Optionally attenuate louder takes to the quietest audible take using whole-timeline RMS matching.
* Compare saved generation settings, recall a recipe, and promote the winner. Imported files stay comparable even when no generation recipe exists.
* Star and annotate takes: stars and notes are searchable, survive a relaunch, and travel into the CSV export.
PRIVACY
* No account, analytics, telemetry, or collected data, and no Silo Systems server.
* On-device by default. Cloud lyrics run only if you turn on Bring Your Own Key and confirm the notice; then your lyrics prompt goes straight from your Mac to the provider you chose, under your own account. Your API key is stored only in the macOS Keychain.
* Music generation, stem separation, training, and export never leave your Mac.

* A compatible Apple Silicon Mac or iPad. The iPad instrumental model requires a 5,995,291,787-byte download and 6,336,729,523 bytes of installed storage.
