Oil Paint - Photo Art Maker 4+

Oil Paint is great for distilling photos to their essence which makes it easier to paint from. No problems with it, just wish it had more "Adjustments" features to tweak photos (i.e. saturation, contrast, cast, etc.). But it works great as a simpler tool! Tks!

I really like this app. It's simple to use and very basic. I only want an app like this to make my photos look like a painting. It does this job nicely. I don't like a lot of bells and whistles when I tweak my photos. If you want a LOT of extras, try elsewhere. If you just simply want to make your photos look like a painting this is the app for you. I DO like the two filters that come with it: Sepia Filter and Vignette Filter. I used this on a black and white photo of mine and was really happy with it. You can't go wrong with the price.

I like that it will turn an image into an oil painting, however, you can not fine tune it. There are only certain levels you can add or subtract the paining effect from. Not sure why you can darken and brighten it at any level, but not the painting effect. Fix that issues and I might use it again.
