“Old MacDonald Had a Farm, E-I-E-I-O!”
A fun, interactive musical sorting game based on the childhood favorite sing-a-long. Kids of all ages enjoy selecting animals from our innovative spinning wheel of animals as our narrator guides them through the game.
Your child will have to make decisions as to which animals belong on a farm, such as our old friends cow, horse, or sheep, and which do not, some unexpected guests such as octopus, camel or even a dinosaur! Players have to decide which of our 21 animals belong on Old MacDonald’s farm.
Drag and drop procedures reward players with barnyard sounds and animations, and a completed barnyard scene prompts Old MacDonald himself to dance a jig! Fun, engaging, educational, visually and audibly exciting, Old MacDonald’s Farm takes the familiar song to a new level!

Entertaining, but no rotation?
My almost 2 year old really likes this app. The navigation of spinning the wheel of animals is a little rough, but he doesn't seem to mind.
My only irritation with it is that it only works in one landscape side, and doesn't rotate when you tilt the device. On the iPad, the side it works on is the opposite of how a book-like cover stands up, so we have to flip the iPad and hold it up manually every time he opens this app. This seems like a fairly basic thing that should be fixed by now but its a major annoyance. Of all the many iPhone/iPad apps I have its the only one where rotation is an issue.
Good potential, but too many problems
Ok, this app has good potential, but beware. The bugs kill the fun. And not the bugs on the farm, but the ones that plague the app. When choosing animals, the camel and the dinosaur cause a sound issue. The sound that they make continues to loop. It will not stop until you restart the program. And why does it take so long to load??? My 2 year old likes to mess around with it, but it does not hold up. The quality is a problem. Check out the Old MacDonald app by Duck Duck Moose. That one is the way to go. Much much better and my son loves it. If the bugs are exterminated on a future update, consider this farm. But until then, skip it. Trust me, the Duck Duck Moose developer makes this app smell like a pig sty. Sorry to be so harsh LoeschWare. Keep trying!
Fine Motor Skill Developer
My kids love this game! The wheel is such a great tool for fine motor skill development, it's great to find something that is different and challenges them. My son is 3.5 and he is great at it, my daughter will be 2 in a few months and it is not as easy for her but she can do it. Some people may see that as a negative but I think it's a good thing...what's the point in teaching them things they already know? That's when it becomes simply a game and no longer educational, right?
