Description
The One For All Setup app is used to set up devices on the One For All Smart Control (URC 7980). The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy (also known as Bluetooth Smart) to communicate with the remote control, giving access to the full online database of over 7,000 brands and 335,000 individual models of Audio/Video devices. Devices can be set up by model search, function search or directly selecting the code. The app also gives you access to the Remote Finder functionality, allowing you to locate your remote by simply pressing a button and listening for the beep.

Finally a remote that works and does exactly as advertised and intended. Extremely user friendly. This literally had to be the fastest I’ve ever seen a device connect to another. My grandfather is terrible with technology and is one of those people with 4 remotes for each function. Now just one remote that he can use! So happy I don’t have to spend hours fixing/explaining the TV and/or remote(s). Definitely worth the purchase, I promise
Honest review
This app is just plain garbage. It doesn’t even work half the time. The remote (when it even pairs) buttons do multiple functions for one button. For example, the volume up and down buttons not only raise and lower the volume when I press them, but simultaneously open the menu (again, at the SAME time). Broken remote. Garbage app. I mean was this remote/app system built by some high schoolers in their parent’s garage? Sure feels like it. PASS.
Terrible
After 30 minutes the remote went back in the box and will be returned. The app will only stay connected to the remote for a few seconds, then it loses the remote and you have to start all over again. This doesn’t give you enough time to set up a device. Having used Logitech remotes, I was hoping for a similar experience. This is no where even close. Run away from this app and remote to save your sanity!
