What is OneMap?
OneMap is a new app where you can discover amazing places and share experiences in your own evocative ways.
On OneMap you will be able to collect and organize places that you have been to or would like to visit, write stories, and add photos and videos to enhance your stories and inspire your followers.
How OneMap Works
- Search for any place in the world
OneMap’s database is packed with places from around the world, showing detailed information and photos, as well as where each place is on the map and how to get there.
- OneMap Collections
Create collections of places you have read about or discovered from someone who inspired you, or make a wish list of places you are planning to visit. Keep track of all the places you have visited by saving them into OneMap Collections, and save to multiple collections in one go.
- View your collections
Use Grid View to smoothly scroll through the places in each of your collections. Switch effortlessly to Map View to see exactly where each place is located.
- Heart, Check-in and Share
Heart places you love the most to save them to your Hearted Collection. Check in to keep track of places you have been, and share your OneMap activity on other popular social media to inspire your friends.
- Share your Stories with your Followers
Share your unique experiences with your followers by writing your own stories about each place you visit, and update those stories whenever you want. Your stories will be neatly organized in your story collections, so you and your followers can easily access them again at any time.
- Create Keywords to easily find places again
Add memorable details about a place as keywords. Keywords will only be visible to you and your followers, who can use them to easily find these places at a later date.
- A personalized experience with no unwanted information
On OneMap, you will only read stories written by people you have chosen to follow, meaning you will only read the descriptions and opinions of people you can trust.
- Use Hashtags in your Stories
Use hashtags in your stories to allow users across the OneMap platform to find stories with the same hashtag linked to places in public collections. Stories in your private collections will only appear to you.
