Discover what to watch by the people in it — plus a sharper picture and a look that's yours.
• Actor & actress discovery — tap anyone in a cast to open their full filmography: bio, photos and every title they're in. The ones already in your library are marked and ready to play. It turns your collection into something you explore by the people you love — for film lovers, it's a game-changer.
• Image enhancement — low-quality and older video is reconstructed at a higher resolution and gently sharpened, automatically and naturally. Everything just looks better.
• Make it yours — pick your app icon in Settings → Appearance, from a set of premium designs.
Also in this update:
• Catch-up is ready the moment you open the app — the guide loads on its own, even straight from your Home favorites.
• Live TV polish — a cleaner two-line program guide and steadier lists that no longer jump as you scroll.
• Exact full-screen fill — no stray black margins, even on 2.4:1 cinema films.
• Faster, smoother browsing with lower memory use.
Enjoy

Version 6.3
Smarter search, and more control over playback.
• Voice search in every search bar — just tap the mic and say what you want. It listens in your language and stops on its own.
• AI search that understands you — ask for something like "a sci-fi movie" or "something scary" and OnePlay finds it by genre, not just by title. Fully on-device and private.
• Siri & Shortcuts — search or jump back into what you were watching, hands-free.
• Sleep timer in the player — it stops playback on its own, and keeps running even when you change episodes.
• Easier catch-up — tap the clock icon on any channel to open past programs, now available in your favorites and on the home carousel too.
Also in this update:
• "Continue Watching" now sorts by most recent across all your sources (live and local).
• Smoother Live TV: the program guide loads without the list jumping, and channels without a logo get a clean branded poster.
• Search results open normally and the whole row is tappable.
• Performance, memory and stability improvements throughout.

A big update — catch-up TV for the channels your server records, a much smoother Movies section, and a faster launch.
New
• Catch-up TV: on channels your provider records, press and hold a channel to browse and replay programmes that already aired — a small clock icon shows which channels support it
Movies
• The Movies section stays smooth even with massive catalogues (thousands of titles across hundreds of categories)
Performance
• The app now remembers your content and shows it instantly on launch, without waiting to download it again
• Opening a category is faster
Reliability

Thank you for using OnePlay — enjoy the update!
6.1 Jul 6
A big update — reworked trailers with full playback controls, smarter automatic reconnection, per-profile M3U lists and a long list of fixes.
What's New in Version 6
• Local search by title: find your local movies and series by their real title, even when the file is named differently
• M3U lists per profile: each user now has their own M3U list, no longer shared between profiles
Trailers
• Full playback controls in trailers — a draggable progress bar, play/pause and ±10s, just like the main player
• The full trailer title is now shown, plus a “Next trailer” button to jump between them
• More accurate trailer matching, and a tidier layout
Reconnection
• When a network stream drops you now see the attempt (“Reconnecting 1/5”), and a channel stuck on “Loading” reconnects on its own instead of hanging
• You can bring up the controls to exit while it's reconnecting, and status messages no longer overlap
Reliability
• Swipe-to-minimize now works from anywhere in the list, not only from the top
• Fixed the trailer button — no more tapping several times or opening duplicate players
• Smoother and more stable throughout, with extra internal cleanup and fixes
Thank you for using OnePlay — enjoy the update!

What's New in 5.7
• Image Enhancement — Smart, automatic sharpening that makes lower-quality content (SD, IPTV) look crisper and more natural — no halos, no artifacts. Toggle it on/off in Settings.
• M3U playlists from a URL — Add your playlist by pasting a URL, not just by importing a file.
• Improved Live TV — The channel name and the program on air now appear during playback, with a LIVE badge and the schedule under the progress bar.
• Stability — Fixed an occasional crash and various performance improvements.
Enjoy
5.7 Jul 1
A bigger reliability update — smarter handling of your own local files, a more dependable player, and dozens of fixes for a steadier app.
Your local library
• Editing a show's metadata now updates everything — its title and every episode's artwork, not just the first episode
• Each episode shows its own thumbnail for the match you choose, instead of the wrong show's images
• The app now respects the title and cover already embedded in your own files; if it's not there, it falls back to the online search as before
• Smarter episode naming for files like "Capítulo 3" or "Episode 3"
Playback & audio
• More reliable sound when opening, leaving and returning to videos
• Your audio and subtitle language choice now carries over when you move to the next episode
• Playback speed (1.5×, 2×…) is kept after you restart a video
• If a video can't start, the controls come back instead of leaving you on a black screen
Getting around
• Swipe to minimize the detail screen when you open Episodes from the player, just like everywhere else — and it opens upright on its own
• The Episodes button now works for streaming series too
Casting
• Casting your local videos now works over a wired (Ethernet) connection, not only Wi‑Fi
• A device that drops mid‑connection no longer gets stuck on "connecting…"
Reliability & speed
• Several crash fixes — opening a show on a weak connection, removing items from Continue Watching, refreshing the TV guide, and double‑tapping Play
• The TV guide now uses the time zone you set in Settings
• Posters, channel logos and artwork load faster and use less data
• Continue Watching stays lighter while you're watching
• Plus a wide range of smaller under‑the‑hood fixes for a faster, steadier experience
Thank you for using OnePlay — enjoy the update!
5.6 Jun 27
A playback-focused update — a more polished player, a more reliable Up Next, and Continue Watching that always stays current.
Playback & controls
• The player controls now appear and disappear with a smoother, more fluid animation
• Up Next is more dependable: as an episode ends you'll see the next episode's artwork and a countdown, and auto-play continues to the right episode — for streaming and local series alike
• The player now shows the full episode title — series name, season and episode number, and the episode title — instead of a shortened version
Continue Watching
• The progress bar on each poster now updates the moment you leave a video — no need to close and reopen the app
• Consistent across movies and series, both streaming and your local library
Reliability
• Plus a range of smaller under-the-hood fixes for a faster, steadier experience
Thank you for using OnePlay — enjoy the update!
5.5 Jun 23
A refined update — a redesigned favorites experience, faster and smoother screens, and a long list of reliability fixes.
New
• Favorites across the whole app now use a single brand-fuchsia heart — the same look on the home, detail screens, carousels and grids
• Tap the heart on any poster to add or remove a favorite instantly, with a smooth animation — in both your provider content and your local library
• A new empty state for your favorites, and the home hero now updates the moment you remove that title's favorite anywhere else
Playback & controls
• The progress bar now slides in and out in sync with the rest of the on-screen controls
• Faster player open — the poster you tapped appears instantly instead of a brief black screen
• Smoother seeking while paused, a more dependable "Restart from beginning", and the volume indicator no longer pops up on its own
Faster & smoother
• Movie and series detail screens now open instantly, with the artwork already in place
• Series details appear as one cohesive piece instead of loading in stages
• Fixed a poster glitch on the home screen after returning from the background
• Lighter, smoother scrolling throughout
Reliability
• More stable Chromecast, with no duplicated events when casting
• Live TV channel lists now stay up to date instead of getting stuck on an old list
• "Play" on a series now opens the exact episode shown at the top of the list
• Removing a series from Continue Watching no longer brings it back
• Deleting a local video no longer makes it briefly reappear
• Plus dozens of internal fixes for a faster, more stable experience
Thank you for using OnePlay — enjoy the update!
5.4 Jun 21
A big update — a brand-new Storage section, a reworked trailer experience, more controls and a long list of fixes.
New

• Stream over Wi-Fi only: an optional toggle to avoid cellular data during playback
• Restart from the beginning across Continue Watching, Favorites and local menus when there's saved progress — otherwise just Play
• Delete confirmation: a quick "Are you sure?" before removing local content

Thank you for using OnePlay — enjoy the update!
