A privacy-focused web browser that blocks unnecessary trackers without collecting any data. As a fully open-source project, we contribute to creating a better internet environment for everyone, not for commercial profit. - We do not collect any user information. - For a better user experience, search history and site records are stored on the user's computer. - By default, search and visit history are only kept for 7 days. - We block a variety of ads and trackers using tracker blocklists, including DuckDuckGo's 'tracker-blocklists'. - As an open-source software, you can view the code and contribute to its development on GitHub.

I wanted to give this browser a try, but unfortunately, I cannot fairly assess because the software is very buggy and not ready-for-prime time. How can I use Opacity Browser if it crashes upon typing a URL in the address bar?I could successfully create a favorite on the Main page for a web address. In my test case, I added a search engine. When running a query in the search engine, results would appear but links would not open.Further, I could not add a new tab, try typing a web URL in the address bar or manage much else with the Opacity browser.I'm currently running MacOS Sonoma 14.0.

Hello Eric Tigre,After investigating the issue you mentioned, I've confirmed that this problem occurred because I failed to update the minimum OS version requirement to 15 when updating the project. I sincerely apologize for not providing a smooth service experience.Due to limited resources in project development, I'm afraid it will be difficult to support older OS versions. However, if you update your macOS to version 15 or higher, you should be able to use the service normally.Thank you so much for taking an interest in this relatively unknown project and for sharing the detailed issue report in your review. Thanks to your feedback, I was able to discover this important problem.
