OpenChat is a privacy-first AI chat app for iPhone and iPad. Bring your own API key and connect OpenAI, Anthropic, Google Gemini, DeepSeek, GLM, OpenRouter, or any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Provider keys stay in your Keychain, and requests go directly from your device to the provider you choose.
With OpenChat Pro, connect with the Hermes service on your Mac. OpenChat generates a local API token and a copy-ready start command; paste it into Terminal, keep Hermes gateway running, and use your local tools, memory, and skills from iPhone or iPad.
Organize conversations, branch chats, search history, render Markdown, dictate by voice, and keep an optional backup in your own iCloud. OpenChat has no analytics and no OpenChat-hosted chat server.
OpenChat Pro is a one-time purchase that lets you connect with your Hermes service and unlock multiple AI providers. It is not a subscription.
