Why use OpenMaps:
This map references the live tiled map service from the OpenStreetMap (OSM) project and other open source map server.

What'is OpenStreetMap:
OpenStreetMap (OSM) is an open collaborative project to create a free editable map of the world. Volunteers gather location data using GPS, local knowledge, and other free sources of information and upload it.

A "whatever" app?
I went to the dev/support site to ask this, but the app wasn't listed or mentioned, so it seems like this is a toss-it-onto-the-store-and-forget-it "whatever" money supplement app.
Screenshots don't show it is adware and there is no way to purchase to remove the ads. For a map app to have any % of screen used for ads is a detriment, and no way to pay to remove them is really unfortunate for the user.
I immediately love it.
Even the color or lack of it it’s the best if you add color just make it so you can do bw as well. I would pay to remove ads but as there is currently and inherently no features it’s just a map. But you can zoom and pan freely I just think it’s great. Relaxes my brain when looking at a digital map. Please let me remove ads or make it that they at least can be minimized. Added functionality in route sharing and overlays perhaps waypoint creation or coordination with. Keep up the work!
Obnoxious in app purchase
My attempt to set up this app was interrupted by numerous solicitations for in App purchase
