Tune your station, listen to the bands and work CW or SSB from your iPhone or iPad. Receiver audio keeps playing when you switch apps or lock the screen. Work your own station from your iPhone or iPad. OpenShack Remote connects to a station running compatible OpenShack/DTM host software. This is not a public receiver service. You need station credentials and a host you are authorised to use. The app purchase does not include station access, host software, a radio or an OpenShack Box. ON THE AIR • Listen to the receiver and tune VFO A and B. • Change bands, modes and filters. Use split, RIT and XIT. • Watch the spectrum and waterfall, and tune to DX Cluster spots. • Operate supported rotators, antennas and station accessories. • Use voice PTT, voice-keyer recordings and the CW text keyer. • Connect an optional OpenShack Box over BLE or Network Box for paddles and footswitch PTT. • Send live frequency and mode to your own Wavelog installation. Available controls depend on the radio, host and your station permissions. Receive-only access stays receive-only. Compatible station accessories can follow receiver frequency and band while the app is in the foreground; this requires an updated host. Gear keeps its scroll position and edits during telemetry updates. Receiver audio continues when you switch apps or lock the screen. Direct WebRTC connections are used where possible, with relay fallback. Connection details show the route and round-trip time. Saved station secrets stay in the iOS Keychain. The interface is English. An internet connection and compatible station are required. Generic USB serial Boxes are not supported on iOS. BLE requires compatible OpenShack Box firmware. Background Box operation needs an active receiver-audio session; the keyboard-style VFO knob works in the foreground only. One-time app purchase. No app subscription, ads or in-app purchases.
