Description
OpenTok is a Safari extension that brings back the ability to watch shared TikToks in your browser.
With TikTok's recent changes, trying to watch videos directly in the browser has become a hassle. OpenTok solves this by stripping tracking details from shared TikTok links, allowing you to watch videos without ever installing the TikTok app. It also cleans up the page for a distraction free viewing experience.
A special thanks to Christian Selig for giving permission to reuse his custom video player. Amplosion was a big inspiration for this project.

Desperately needed
Seriously, thank you so much for this plugin. At this point it’s more than apparent that TikTok’s app clip is broken across all of Apple’s devices (videos refuse to play) as a means of forcing people to download the app. And until Apple gets its stuff together and actually forces TikTok to do something about it, this plugin here is needed and more than helpful.

BONUS: You can even use tiktok.com and refresh the page to see new random videos in with native video controls! No more endless scrolling!

Hi! Have you read through the “Verify setup” guide at the bottom of the app? I would specifically try what the footnote says about changing the options to “Ask” and retrying setup from there. The setup process can be finicky but I’m sure you will get it working!
