No “real” rewards

I got this app because it advertises being able to win rewards for walking... but that’s not really the case. You earn points or gems by walking, and I actually enjoy how their point system works and that gems are easy to accumulate; HOWEVER, once you earn the gems they are pretty much useless. The only “rewards” that are actually offered are raffles for prizes- so you spend your gems with no actual guarantee of an actual reward .

Unstable App

This app is pretty good for following daily exercise routines. That said, the daily routines do to be repetitive and lacking breadth, and the suggested activities are clear random and often will include the same things. The challenge is that this app is probably the most unstable app on my phone and regularly goes into meltdown and is unable to load for sometimes long periods of time. Really annoying when you have a few minutes and app refuses to load. Might have to come back hours later.

UPDATE: It’s gotten so much worse to deal with. The app regularly claims to have poor internet connection. It is the only app on my phone with this problem. I can stream video, surf the web, but not open Optimity. This goes on for hours or a day, making it increasingly useless to use as an exercise app.

App needs work, but gift card rewards are real

This is the only app that actually pays out real gift cards for exercising, meditating, and drinking water. The app has a bunch of annoying problems, but the fact that it has motivated me to take walks and do breathing/stretching exercises because I get a gift card the following month makes this app earn my 5-star review.

For the app developer: (1) please get rid of photo upload requirements for gems until you figure out how to make this work better; it shouldn’t take several tries... I have FIOS, so it’s not bandwidth on my side. (2) video clips of exercises are great, so please add more of those.
