CALENDAR INVITES
• Messages with a calendar invite are marked in your inbox.
• Open an invite to see the event's details on a clear, readable card.
• Accept, decline or answer maybe from OptMsg. Replies are built to work with Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple Calendar.
• Add to Calendar opens Apple's own Add Event screen.
HOW-TO VIDEOS
• A new How-to's page in the Help Center plays short guides inside the app, in portrait on an upright phone where available.
KNOW WHEN A MESSAGE STAYED INSIDE OPTMSG
• A blue shield appears in the message header when the sender and every recipient are on OptMsg.
• When a message stayed inside OptMsg, the sender's name is shown in blue as well.
EMAIL THAT LOOKS GREAT
• Dark mode keeps the sender's header bars, button colours and backgrounds.
• Logos keep their proportions and layouts hold their shape.
• Banner and embedded images display in full.
READING
• With the reading pane on, a message is marked read once you have had it open for a few seconds.
• Mark as Unread stays put, and the Unread list keeps up with what you have just read.
• Leaving a screen clears its search, so every search starts fresh.
WRITING AND REPLYING
• Reply is listed before Reply All.
• The top recipient suggestion is highlighted, and Enter, Tab or a comma adds it.
• Replies to newsletters keep a clean, borderless layout.
SIGN-UP AND SIGN-IN
• If sign-up is interrupted, you can pick up where you left off or start fresh.
• Signing in right after creating your account is smoother and more dependable.
Incoming mail delivery is more resilient than ever, attachments that share a name each keep their identity, and buttons across the app are clearly named for screen readers.
