Snake, but your tail doesn't follow you. It fossilises where you leave it and becomes permanent wall. You don't die chasing yourself. You get sealed inside everything you've built.
THE DIG
One world, carved across every run. Death doesn't wipe the board. Your stone stays exactly where you left it, and the next run starts inside the walls of the last one. The dig only ends when the fortress finally closes around you.
SPEND LENGTH, OR KEEP IT
Length is your score multiplier and your currency. Shed tail to open an escape route, and every segment you drop hardens into one more wall. Stay long, or shed to survive. That's the whole decision, and it never stops being interesting.
CARVE GLASS
Catch the rhino and charge your own stone. It doesn't break the wall. It carves it into glass: a clear, permanent passage through your fortress. Glass is the only door you'll ever get, so carve it where future runs will need it.
BUILD THE FORTRESS THAT BURIES YOU
The ending is not a game over. It's the monument: a board you spent every run building, finished the moment it seals you in.
