High-school Junior here,Just wanted to say that this app is amazing. Originally I came over to this app after quizlet started charging for its learn mode, and after using this app since August I must say it’s even better than quizlet. The way you can organize and create your decks is amazing and the long term modes really work. Being able to print the flash cards, as well as type out written answers have greatly helped me memorize stuff for school, especially history, which is one of the topics I struggle to remember stuff in lol. Also when I had an issue purchasing the pro features the team behind this app was quick to fix the problem. Also I just purchased the pro feature and I can’t wait to try it out- so thank you so much devs for this wonderful app!

Quizlet’s Learn feature used to be my go-to until they discontinued their shuffle option. I found myself just memorizing the order of the terms, not the actual content. I started searching for an alternative flash card app with shuffle functionality and found OutLearn on Reddit. It’s been about a week using this as a complete Quizlet replacement and I’m in love. Of course, being a newer app there are a few bugs every now and then but nothing severe that alters the app’s usage. The ability to import all my old sets from Quizlet is so convenient and really made the switch simple and painless. It’s safe to say I love this app!

Compared to other spaced repetition apps on the App Store, the one time fee for a pro version rather than a subscription was very enticing. Overall the mobile and desktop features of the app are well designed, and I was initially very satisfied with the purchase. I particularly enjoy the aesthetic of OutLearn over the other spaces repetition apps that I have used in the past. That being said: recently I have been experiencing some issues during card creation and review that make the app difficult to use on mobile. I reached out to the support contact in the app with my issues twice, and both times I got a return message that suggests the support email is non-existent or not set up correctly.Hoping that the developer can resolve the tech support issues, as I really do enjoy the app and would love to give a higher rating. However, not being able to report issues I am experiencing is a big turn off and making me regret my purchase.

I would like to tell any first time user to save, double save, heck, even triple save your flashcard sets every time you make a change or it will delete itself! I even do it when I am importing sets because it doesn’t automatically save. I learned the hard way when I made a 50 card set and I came back to nothing. The developer did not respond to my email about this issue, but hopefully he is aware of it. I have to give it four stars because of the saving issue. But other than that, this app has cut down my long study time from 5 hours just to under two hours. This app is a game-changer. If Anki and Quizlet had a kid, it would be this app. I recommend this app to anyone who is looking for a fresh, creative new flashcard app to study.
