A short daily practice session matched to your child's grade and skills. Scan homework to find gaps, get plain-English reports, and stay in control. No ads. Owlbert is a daily learning companion for children in grade 3 and up, with a separate portal for parents. FOR PARENTS Add your children, pick the subjects, set a daily time budget, and Owlbert plans a short session each day. Practice adapts to each child: it revisits skills that are shaky, reviews what is due, moves on when your child is ready, and occasionally offers one easier question from a slightly higher grade as a gentle stretch. You can adjust how often that happens, or turn it off. HOMEWORK SCAN Photograph or upload a homework page. Owlbert reads it, finds where your child is stuck, and suggests practice modelled on it. You can correct what it read and choose what to practise. Scans are sealed to your family key after processing, so your family controls who can open them. Owlbert can misread handwriting, so please check the results. REPORTS Weekly and monthly reports show, per subject, how your child is trending and roughly what grade level they are working at. Trends over weeks matter more than one bad day, and the reports say so. KID MODE Children pick their own profile on a device you have signed in. Big buttons, short sessions, points and badges that are tied to learning. Feedback is encouraging and never shaming. Hints are always available. Kid screens contain no external links and no ads. Parent settings are behind your parent PIN. SUBJECTS Mathematics, English, Science, Coding and AI, Robotics, Arts, Aptitude and Logic, French and Spanish. Today Owlbert covers grade 3 and up; grades 1 and 2 are coming later. PRIVACY No ads. No third-party trackers or analytics in the app. We do not sell data. Parents hold the account; children do not create accounts or give an email. You can export your family's data or delete your account from Account inside the parent portal. Details: https://owlbert.bare-metal-labs.com/privacy ABOUT THE AI Owlbert uses a third-party AI model (Claude, from Anthropic) to help write practice questions, mark answers your child types, write short feedback and hints, and read homework scans. The text or image needed for the task is sent for processing, with no names, emails or family identifiers added by us. Your child cannot chat freely with the AI: it only responds to the question in front of them. Under Anthropic's API terms, that data is not used to train Anthropic's models. AI can be wrong; please check scan readings and tell us about mistakes. HONEST NOTES Owlbert is a practice companion. It does not replace teachers or school, and we do not promise test scores. Questions are generated and marked partly by AI, which can make mistakes; tell us through the Feedback page and we will fix them. You need an Owlbert parent account (free to create in the app; new accounts may wait briefly for approval).
