Description

Finally, an easy way to remember to drink more water and monitor hydration!

P is a simple water reminder app. It doesn't need to know when you drink water or how much you drink.

Instead, just tap one button every time you go to the bathroom! (Great for Apple Watch)

When you haven't peed for 3 hours you'll get a reminder to drink water (except while you sleep)

It's better than a water tracker. P turns drinking more water into a game.

"It's the #1 number 1 app!"

There are 10 easy ways to log pees with P:
• Open the app and tap the big "Log Pee" button
• Log a pee from the Widget
• Tap one of the actions on a notification
• Log from the app icon shortcut
• Install the Apple Watch app and Complication so you're always just two taps away from logging a pee
• Manually enter the date and time for old pees you forgot to log
• Tell Siri to "Log a Pee"
• Long press on the Log Pee button in the app to log a pee at a specific time in the past hour
• Hand wash detection
• Use Shortcuts to log a pee however you'd like

Adjust the Quiet Hours setting in the app to avoid notifications while you're asleep.

See where you stack up against other urinators on the Leaderboard. Don't break that streak!

Supports Dark Mode, so you can choose the look you prefer.

You can also use P as a simple pee tracker, and export your data as a CSV. You can even add notes to each pee to keep track of urgency, color, amount, or whatever you'd like.

Customize when you receive water reminders, anywhere from 0–5 hours after you last peed. You can also adjust the interval between notifications from the 30-minute default.

Choose one of several alternate icon designs.

Optionally see the location of your pees on a map.

Connect with Apple Heath to import hand washing events to identify possible pees you may have forgot to log.

P does not provide medical advice. It is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical conditions. It's just a fun way to remember to drink more water or track your pees. Ask a licensed medical professional if you have any questions about:
- kidney stones
- BPH and other prostate conditions
- interstitial cystitis and bladder conditions
- getting well-hydrated to prevent hangovers

P includes an optional subscription to unlock additional features. If you choose to purchase a subscription, it will be charged to your App Store account and will automatically renew, unless canceled before the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time by going to your Account Settings on the App Store after purchase. Terms of Use: https://www.peeandseeit.com/privacy-policy.html

— The P Story —

I was sick of getting headaches.

It seemed like every few weeks I’d lose productivity for half a day or more. My head hurt so badly I felt like I couldn't do anything.

One day, as I laid in bed with a headache, I thought maybe they were happening because I didn't drink enough water.

I knew there were apps to remind me to drink water based on the amount I drank, but that seemed silly. How would I track the exact amount of water I drank? Would I need a special cup with lines on it? And what if I was going for a run? Wouldn’t I need more water than if I were just sitting around all day?

I thought that if I kept track of when I peed I might be able to use that data to give myself reminders to drink water when I hadn’t peed in a long time.

Even though I had little experience making iPhone apps at the time, I built a prototype, gave it to a few people to test, and they loved it. I released the app to the world in 2016, and I've been improving it since. Many happy users have gone YEARS without missing a day of logging pees.

Thank you for joining me on my mission to have a positive impact on the world by helping people stay hydrated. The greatest compliment you can give me is a recommendation of this app to a friend or family member!

Amazing

All of my data has been restored :D

UPDATE: The developer is on top of trying to restore my data. He is so dedicated to making this a great app so if you have any problems just let him know and I’m sure he’ll do whatever he can to fix it. This app has been exactly what I needed in a urination tracking app and the loss of data was unfortunate, but I’m confident the developer is doing everything he can to restore it and to keep it from happening to anyone else. I’ll definitely continue to use this app.

The app is fully functional and i like all of the features it has, today all of my logs were deleted after the update. The only logs that were kept were today’s which is unfortunate because I had over 100 pees logged and a 22 day streak. But if you don’t care about that kind of stuff then the app will do exactly what you need it to do which is ultimately remind you to drink water when you haven’t peed in a certain amount of time.

Hi, I'm really sorry about your lost data! I take data loss very seriously with this app because I know people count on it. This update changed a lot of things in the background, and I tested a lot before releasing it, but it turns out there have been some issues. I'm working to resolve them going forward. The good news is your data is probably still in iCloud somewhere, and I hope to restore it in a future update. Please continue using the app normally, and I will keep working on an update that will attempt to restore your data. If you email me at peeandsee@ganotis.com I can discuss this with you more, or answer any other questions you have. Sorry to disappoint!!!

Doesn’t sync w/ my Apple Watch

I downloaded a bunch of water apps and this was the only one I kept updated. I’ve found myself using the Apple Watch app more frequently because it’s easy to log effortlessly. Unfortunately, the pees logged on my Watch don’t sync with the app on my phone, and I have to enter the times manually. This was ok for the first couple of days I was enamored with the app, but it’s tedious and a bit of a pain. I like the graphs on the iPhone app, so I hope that this can be fixed soon. The app is kitsch and fun, and I’ve definitely been drinking more water. My boyfriend and I are comparing the amount we pee 100% more than previously, so thanks for that, I guess!

Hello! That is not normal. Please try turning your phone and Apple Watch off and then back on. If that doesn’t help, please contact me at peeandsee@ganotis.com. I want to make sure we get this resolved!

Lifesaver!

I love this app!! For me it’s a game changer! Instead of keeping track of how much or little I drink, I’m reminded to use the restroom and by doing so, I can “see” the effects of my water intake. This exercise (I truly believe bladder control is an exercise) has helped me control my OAB (Over Active Bladder). Consequently, my anxiety about my OAB (i.e. urgency, accidents, being near a restroom, etc.) has significantly decreased!

Additionally, I love the graphs, gaming aspects, sound effects, and Apple Watch app. By far, this is my most favorite (health) app in the App Store!! I recommend this to anyone who has OAB, bladder incontinence, or similar health issues, or anyone without these issues but wants to monitor their bathroom use and water intake.

Thanks for making this app!!!

Wow! Thank you so much for this nice review. It’s my birthday, and this review is a great birthday gift. I hope to continue making the app better in the years to come. Thank you for recommending it to other people!
