Two different things stop being one button. • "Burn all data" has become "Delete data", with the two things it used to do kept apart. Burning the household's shared content — tasks, checklists, plans, photos, the manual — is now separate from deleting your own account. • The person who created the household chooses who can erase what everyone shares: only them, only people they name, anyone in the household, or nobody. Households that already exist start at "only the creator", which is a change from anyone being able to. • Deleting your own account is always available to everyone and is never affected by that setting. • Long task titles now wrap instead of being cut off when you open a task.

Photos that keep up, and a tidier way to leave. • A photo now appears the moment it arrives. If someone else in the household adds one while you are looking at a task, it turns up on its own — no going back and in again — and the "arriving" label on your own photo clears itself as soon as the upload finishes. • Deleting your account no longer removes anybody else. It takes your account, your data and your place in the household, and leaves everyone else's household exactly as it was. • The code you use to connect an AI assistant now disappears from your clipboard when it expires, instead of sitting there afterwards.

Photos, on anything. • Add a photo to a task, a subtask or a shopping item. Take one or pick one — it appears straight away, and everyone in the household sees it. • A shopping item shows its picture in the list, so whoever does the shop gets the right brand without opening anything. • All your photos in one place — Search now has a Photos view. Every picture with what it belongs to underneath. • Find a photo by typing. Your phone reads the words in a picture, so a boiler serial number or the name on a coffee bag becomes something you can search for. That happens on your phone; no photo is sent anywhere to be looked at. • The readable copy of every photo stays on your own phone, in a Pacelli folder you can open in the Files app. What is stored for the household is encrypted, like everything else. Location data is removed before a photo is saved. • Your data export now includes your photos.

Connect an AI to your household. • Connect an AI — pair a tool like Claude with your household from Settings. It joins as its own member, so what it changes is recorded as its work and never as yours, and you can disconnect it in one swipe. • Item quantities are now encrypted on your device before they are stored, like everything else you type. Quantities already saved are upgraded quietly as they are opened. • Fixed: pressing return in the Qty field did nothing, and the item you had typed was lost. • Deleting a checklist item is easier to find.

Reusable shopping lists. • Templates — build a list once, save it as a template, and anyone in your household can turn it into a fresh list whenever they need it. Handy for the weekly shop. Save one from any checklist: open it, tap "Save as template", give it a name. Your templates then appear at the top of the Checklists tab.

Pacelli can now lock itself. • Face ID — turn on "Require Face ID" in Settings › Privacy and Pacelli locks whenever you switch away from it. Your data was always encrypted; this stops someone holding your unlocked phone from reading it. • Checklist items can be edited — change an item's name or quantity in place, instead of deleting it and starting again. • "Send feedback" has moved to its own Help section in Settings, so you can actually find it.

Notifications from the other person. When someone else in your household adds a task, your phone now tells you — and it tells you what the task was, not just that something happened. That last part is the interesting bit. Pacelli encrypts your tasks so that only your household can read them, which normally means a notification can't say anything useful. Here the task's name arrives still encrypted and is unlocked on your own phone, a moment before it appears. Nobody in between — not us, not Apple — can read it. It's off by default. Turn it on in Settings, under Reminders.

Fixes feedback. If you sent us a message through Send feedback before now, it never reached us in a readable form — it was encrypted with a key that only ever existed on your own phone, so nobody could open it, us included. That's fixed. Feedback is now encrypted so that only we can read it, and you can add an email address if you'd like a reply. Sorry to anyone who wrote and heard nothing back. We weren't ignoring you.

Task reminders. Give a task a due date and Pacelli reminds you on the day, at a time you choose — with the task's own name, so you know what it's about at a glance. Set one default time for everything in Settings, or give a single task its own. There's an optional nudge the day before too. Reminders are created on your phone and never leave it.

Join a household with a code Sharing a household no longer depends on email. Anyone already in your household can create a short join code under Household → Join code, and whoever types it joins straight away — whatever they signed in with. Codes last 7 days, and you can generate a new one or turn the code off at any time. This matters if you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email address: nobody can send an invitation to an address they can't see. Now they don't have to. Also in this update • Email invitations now work reliably. If you were invited to a household but ended up in an empty one of your own, this release fixes it and you'll join properly. • "I have a join code" now appears on the welcome screen, so you can join a household straight away without creating an account first. • If we can't get you into the household you were invited to, Pacelli now tells you instead of quietly starting a new one. • Spanish and Italian throughout the new screens.

• Export your data — save a backup of everything in your household as a JSON file, from Settings → Your data. • Rename your household — any member can change the household name in Settings → Members & invites. • New look for themes — colour schemes now have friendly names: Pacelli, Lavender and Ocean. Your saved choice is unchanged.
