Description

Pain Logger is your daily pain tracking app to track (and remember) your pain intensity levels.

If you have sought medical attention for pain issues, you know one of the first questions your care provider asks is “What has been the highest level of pain you have experienced?” With Pain Logger, you can definitively answer that question.

In fact, not only will you know what your pain levels were, but you can also know when, how frequently, and your activity level.

With Pain Logger in your pocket, you use the data to correlate pain triggers and to work with your pain management specialist to best alleviate it.

Pain Logger provides these key features:

- Uses the commonly accepted 0 to 10 pain scale
- Tracks multiple pain areas
- Reminders (time and/or location) for each pain area to ensure you enter your data
- Customizable reminder sounds to uniquely identify different pain areas
- Interactive graph of your data
- Plot multiple pain areas at the same time
- Bar and scatter charts - Premium only
- Print data and graphs
- Email data and graphs
- Store notes with each entry
- Add missed entries or edit existing ones at any time
- Add badges and notes to entries to highlight important ones
- Data is stored in your private iCloud account and never shared.

Please Note: Continued use of the GPS running in the background (which is required for geofence notifications) can decrease battery life. You can turn this off in Pain Loggers' settings should you not use or need location-based notifications.

Pain Logger is useful for all types of pain management, whether it be headaches, backaches, foot pain, sciatica, shingles, or frequent or infrequent pain.

Pain Logger is your essential daily tool for understanding, tracking, and managing your pain.

What’s New

Version 3.2

We have worked hard to address feedback and questions, add new features, and fix some bugs along the way. Here's what's new

- New features
- Doubled the number of badges available
- Can now change graph type from the graph view
- Bars in the bar chart for a locked category are now grouped and separated by day
- Added a setting to timestamp notes when they are entered

- Bugs fixed
- bar chart does not show recent entries in the correct location
- badges in light mode are difficult to be seen
- creating a new category causes the "active only" state to be disregarded
- Quick entry now shows the last pain level entered and not 0
- Recent notes selector is now disabled when there are no recent notes

Re-invented wheel

The primary reason I downloaded the app was to track pain. This would include intensity as well as location. Anyone who has back problems and subsequent nerve pain knows that areas of pain move just as intensity fluctuates. To try and more efficiently identify specific triggers, it is helpful to know when and WHERE your pain is as well as how much it hurts.
-Adding insult to injury

The later versions of the app address this issue by allowing multiple pain areas, setting pain types, and on-demand pain entries. This would allow one to enter the primary pain area level for a specific area and have other on-demand areas to track other areas triggered by the primary area.

Awesome Tool

I wish I didn't need this app, but given my current situation this app has been a life saver. It sure beats pencil and paper and I love the ease of use. It's a lot easier to print a graph chart showing the pain levels that I have logged for the last two weeks to show doctor than try to explain the extent of the pain. I also tend to "sugar coat" the true extent of my pain due to my optimistic personality and the app gives a truer picture of. My situation. I can also easily email the notes to anyone and they are in a easy to read PDF document. You wont regret buying this app!

Thank you for the feedback. This description is a true representation of the intention and function of the app and was the original reason we built it in the first place.

Watch out when you upgrade

Used it for three weeks and it worked well so I decided to upgrade. It erased all my previous data and notes with no warning. Sheesh!

Developer Response ,

In this version we had some syncing problems. The latest version uses industry standard storage both on the client and in a user's iCloud account, so this problem should not occur again.
