I would give zero star if I could.
The idea of e-services is nice but the issue is this App that doesn’t function properly. Added layers of complexities and features that doesn’t make any sense. The photo feature is terrible as it only allows you to take live photo with the front camera which is workable for adults and older children but not for infants. There is no way you could possibly get a correct picture of your infant with this non-sense front camera only option. There is no option to upload pre-captured or scanned photo. However, by just allowing back camera this simple issue can be resolved if pre-captured photos are not allowed. The Pak ID website was good but now they have removed NICOP/CNIC/POC application from the website and the only way is to go through this pathetic mobile App. I usually don’t leave any reviews but this one is necessary as no matter wherever we Pakistani go we always feel trapped in this Sarkari system which always adds to our problems and never seems to be helpful at all. Feel sorry for all Pakistani out there trying to get some documents for their children…

Photo liveness check is necessary to make it a safe app. It is causing inconvenience for the infants. We will try to improve it.

No Im actually serious. I only gave one star so I can write the review because Zero stars isn’t acceptable. Seriously? For a country proud of their intelligent workers who do they have running this app? A villager who barely knows their ABC’s? Let alone make an app and have it function? I’m trying to get my NICOP made and the fingerprint scanning part for the 5th stage. Does. not. work. I’m no idiot, I’ve been using a phone and a camera for over 14 years, I also know how to review guidelines. NOR do I have any osteoporosis or bone disease that prevents me from taking pictures properly or holding my camera stable. I managed to take pictures of BOTH my hands properly. And the app tells me that it was a success. But then after I’ve taken all the pictures, I get a JAVASCRIPT error that says “maximum call stack exceeded” this is a technical error WITHIN the app it’s not a human error on my end. Anything that gives a Javascript error means there is something wrong with the app itself. FIX THIS APP.

App does not work.

My family is trying to renew our NICOP and POC for weeks. Each time we log on it start the process as new. Fingers and thumbs do not scan. Tried several times. After two hours of trying the finger prints app gave an option of taking picture. Tried over 30 time to take the picture and each time it was rejected. Logged on again and mysteriously option was given to upload the picture from computer. Tried another 30 or 40 times and each time picture was rejected. The picture we were to upload was taken professionally at the Walgreens and was accepted to get the US passport.
Nothing works, no help. No option given to upload whatever NADRA wanted from us. We are traveling to Pakistan in few weeks. What a low quality product. Hard to use and crashes often. Even the embassy can’t help. They referred to the NADRA complaint website.
Pathetic!! I would’ve given zero stars if it wa available.
