Very neat, but one request:

This is probably one of the prettiest widgets I've ever used. Seeing it every day on my home-screen reminds me of the little insignificant grain of dust we live on. However, it would be really neat if it was in real time (unless it’s intended to be in real time, in that case please fix that), and you added different widget choices that would lock onto only one side of the planet, without the need of asking for locations. It would be amazing to see exactly what my home looks like from up above, simply from the home-screen. That aside, great job on the app, keep it up!

That’s extremely kind, thanks very much for your feedback, I’m pleased you appreciate the widget as much as I do 😁 I’m planning on taking some time out to implement everyone’s suggestions, the location feature sounds like a tricky one but I’m sure there’s a solution to it!

Many thanks, Will

Very aesthetically pleasing

This is a very aesthetically pleasing widget. It looks really cool as the earth spins throughout the day and the widget is always changing. It doesn’t show the correct hemisphere all of the time, however, it makes your phone look so much more interesting. I have been trying to look for cool widgets to match my space themed background and this works perfectly.

Developer Response ,

Thanks very much for your feedback! It’s great to hear people appreciate it as much as we do - we’re planning on adding hemisphere support soon 🌎

Many thanks, Will

I love having this.

Throughout my teen years I actively stargazed a lot. Now in my mid-20’s, I haven’t done so at all. This reminds me of my astronomy passion, and our insignificance. Going to keep this on my widget screen.

Like others, I’d love for it to be able to show me the hemisphere I’m in. Even if it’s over eastern USA, or wherever you happen to be.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for sharing your great story! It makes it all the worth while for us making the widget - hopefully we’ll get that feature done for the next update 🤞

Many thanks, Will
