PanStrobe now makes full use of a big screen. • Landscape on iPad and Mac: the strobe sits beside the spectrum on one screen with nothing to scroll, and it grows to fill the window — including while you resize it on a Mac. • Mac: steadier microphone capture, the active input picked on multi-channel audio interfaces, high sample rates handled, and the display stays awake while you tune. • Clearer help when no microphone is connected or access is off, pointing to exactly where to fix it.

The free tuner now watches one partial — the fundamental — instead of three. Seeing a note's octave and compound fifth move at the same time is what PanStrobe is for, so that is now part of Pro. One band is still a full-precision chromatic strobe tuner, on the half-circle disc or the horizontal rows, and it stays free forever. Pro adds the whole note: every partial at once, the spectrum analyser, the band editor and the pitch pipe.

The trial now says so. A new install is told up front that its first 8 days are full Pro, and when the trial ends the app says that too, instead of quietly growing padlocks. The Pro chip in the header reads "Get Pro" once the trial is over, so the way to the plans is always in sight. Plan cards and terms now take their free-trial wording straight from the App Store, so what you read is always exactly what Apple grants. PanStrobe now runs on iPad. The strobe fan grows into the bigger screen rather than sitting in the middle of it, and the controls are sized for a tablet.
