Workhorse for day to day package tracking
I’ve been using this app for a few years now doing the paid sub thing. I use it for both personal packages as well as my small business. Anytime I order anything and get tracking info, it goes in the app and I can easily check all my shipments at a glance from my desktop, phone or ipad. I like the notifications because there are times when I don’t hear the delivery person, the package arrives ahead of schedule or those times when I just forget I had a package coming. It’s just peace of mind to have the reminder so that I don’t miss a shipment or leave something sitting on the front porch until I just happen to see it there that evening or a couple of days later. When I have a heavy load of shipments coming in or a package I’m anxious to receive, I keep it up on one of my monitors in my office and it’s easy to hit the refresh button throughout the day. It doesn’t seem to be 100% up to day at all times depending on how it’s refreshing, but it’s alwasy easy to select a package and just hit the “track on website” button and you can see it right there on the USPS, FedEx or UPS website. I like having a place to look where at a glance, I know how many packages should be arriving that day and which carriers they’ll arrive with. Overall I’d definitely recommend this one. It’s one of a handful of apps I use as part of my daily workflow and I would miss if I didn’t have it. Thanks and keep up the good work on this one!!!
I wish I’d found it sooner
I get LOTS of packages, and some of them come from overseas. I also live in an apartment complex where the mail isn’t delivered to the door and UPS saves time by dropping stuff off at the admin office. Sometimes, the stuff I order is date-sensitive, and Parcel is the ONLY way I have of knowing when something has arrived. It’s also invaluable when a delivery strays, as happened recently when for some reason an order for Austin TX ended up in Nebraska. Knowing where the package was helped me help the shipper get things straightened out.
However, one of its truly useful functions it that it allows me to keep track of drop-shipped orders to my customers, so that I know if the promised delivery actually happens when promised. And if it doesn’t, I also have information to let me know why. If you run any kind of business where having details of where a package is, being able to check on them without having to open a browser is a major time-saver.
I really can’t say enough good things about Parcel. Is it perfect? Of course not, but it’s close enough as makes no difference.

Thanks a lot for this wonderful review :)
Does what it says & does it well
I’m not usually a fan of “subscription” apps, but Parcel stands out as an exception. I discovered this app a few years back and started my subscription a little over a year ago. I find it to have enough value to me that I don’t mind paying an annual subscription. It allow you to track your shipments, share the information with others and even view it’s progress on a map. There is a bit of a lag which I’m thinking is due to whatever interface there is between the app and all of the various shipping companies. Sometimes, it’s just a minute or two; sometimes it can be up to 30 minutes. But usually you get timely notifications on package progress, expected delivery and when the delivery has been completed. The interface is kept simple so that you always see the most relevant information and can always use a tap to drill down for more details. It tracks all of the big boys like USPS, FedEx, UPS but also DHL and the other shippers that most people don’t know about or thought were extinct. Plus you always get direct access to the shippers website if you need to reschedule or reroute a delivery. Including those features would be my only wishlist item for this app. Otherwise, it’s a great app that has remained stable through the years.
