Send photos, videos and files straight from your phone to your computer over your own Wi-Fi. No cloud, no accounts, no size limits.
ParcelBeam moves files between your devices the short way — straight across the room.
Your iPhone and your computer are on the same Wi-Fi, a metre apart. Sending a file between them should not mean uploading it to a data centre and pulling it back down. ParcelBeam sends it directly.
It handles the case nothing built in does: your iPhone and a computer you are not signed into, in both directions, with no account anywhere. ParcelBeam speaks an open transfer protocol that free clients already implement, so the far end does not have to be another iPhone.
Photos, videos, documents, whole folders: pick them on your phone and beam them to your computer over your own Wi-Fi. Nothing is uploaded to a cloud, nothing passes through anyone's server, and there is no account to create. If the two devices can see each other on your network, the transfer happens. That's the whole app.
ONE CONTROL
Tap the beam in the middle of the screen to pack a parcel. Tap it again to send. Hold it to add more. Devices in range sit along the bottom — tap one to aim, long-press to make it a favourite so it's preselected next time.
SEND FROM ANYWHERE
"ParcelBeam" appears in the share sheet, so you can beam straight out of Photos, Files, Safari or anywhere else that shares.
RECEIVES TOO
Your phone can accept transfers as well as send them, with a prompt showing who is sending and what. Turn on Quick Save to skip the prompt, or require a PIN so nobody can send to you without it.
TRANSFERS YOU CAN TRUST
Every file carries a SHA-256 checksum that is verified when it arrives — a corrupted transfer is rejected rather than silently saved. Transfers with other ParcelBeam devices are encrypted, and each device checks the other's certificate against the identity it announced.
A HISTORY THAT DOES SOMETHING
Every transfer is recorded. Tap any received file to preview it, save photos and videos to your library, or jump straight to it in the Files app.
THE OTHER END
A free ParcelBeam app for computers is a separate download at zoco94.github.io/parcelbeam-releases. ParcelBeam also implements an open local-network transfer protocol, so it interoperates with any client that speaks it.
PRIVATE BY CONSTRUCTION
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no servers of ours. Your files never leave your network. The only thing ParcelBeam ever sends anywhere is a feedback message, and only when you tap Send.
