I would rate this a 5 but the video is so on/off that it’s frustrating. And it happens during every match. Literally just was watching a match and it went to a “no signal” screen and stopped. Tried reloading and got the same screen so it’s not my signal. I’m on high speed WiFi right now. We pay a premium price for this. And I’ve had the video just stop in the middle of the finals matches. Really??? Just because the match is over in real time doesn’t mean we didn’t want to see it to the end. 🙄

The recent update no longer allows subscribers to watch live matches in the app. You are now redirected to a web browser tab and forced to log in again. The app was decent to begin with, but the best part of the app was being able to just open and watch live matches. This feature NEEDS to be restored. People want to watch the matches through the app without logging in again.Another major issue I’ve been having after the recent update is not being able to watch any of the matches on my TV. Normally, I use the Silk browser to log into my account and simply watch the matches. Now, the audio comes through but the video never loads and appears. I’ve tried on several different TVs and the same thing happens. Again, the update needs to be fixed ASAP. We pay good money to watch the matches and now we can’t watch them the way we are used to.Just some thoughts for overall improvement of the app. There needs to be someone updating the video library from time to time. I can’t speak for the web version cause I rarely use it, but the phone app seems to be rarely updated in regards to the video library and content. The calendar does seem to almost always be up to date which is a very nice positive. There was a point where Luke Littler was world champ runner up and didn’t even have a picture on his profile. Someone has to keep the app up to date.

The app did not work with newer versions of Chromecast it seems, Apple AirPlay is garbage and makes your phone useless. There was an update 4 days ago which now when trying to stream launches a separate browser window you have to log into (again) and the PDCTV website doesn’t manage cookies correctly as you have to sign in each time. Cannot even use AirPlay through the browser as it drops the connection after a minute if you lock your phone and chromecast isn’t available there either. The only way I figured out how to cast is from a computer and the website which of course is annoying when you should just be able to cast from your phone. Please fix this app, it’s 2025 and the experience is extremely terrible

The news is never updated at the same time as the website. If you want the latest news article, you have to go to the website. With the latest update, when you go to videos, it takes you to the website. Almost every week, there is some type of issue with watching live tournaments: lack of sound, video feed cuts in and out, or just a black screen with no sound. Very frustrating. Since there’s a tournament almost every week, you’d think they’d have the video perfected by now. I’ve been getting the annual subscription for years because I love watching darts, but I’m beginning to ask myself if it’s worth it anymore.
